I'm trying to look into the future with the aide of the patterns shown by the StatPath 5 Lotto System and guess what event will occur, and bet on that event and maybe make a profit. I took the 19 numbers from the Lower Tier Group after the 07/27 Drawing and tried to wheel them to some reasonable quantity that had a 5 of 5 match in the 07/28 drawing, but no such luck. Pick 5 is 99.9% TAKE for FL Lotto, it's sad out of 21 million people only 30-40 boxed Winners per event.

They (OH CA, and others) may look about the same. Somehow I don't think the 5 balls in the hopper will generate the rare event that 4 numbers will repeat from anywhere w/in the last 10 draws or the extremely rare event such as 11/15/00 and 11/25/00 where all 5 numbers repeated-- same 5 #'s for both dates (for CA F5); and on 11/25/00 28 people (or tickets) split the match 5/5 top prize. Yeah, a half-million bucks (or even a million) before taxes, just isn't the life-changing event it used to be. It's nice, and it would, like you say, pay off some bills. But you can't retire on it, and it just makes things a bit easier for the person if they play it right. Therefore, its not much of a story from the media's standpoint.

I have it occuring in 54 out of the last 4600+ draws. So I'd say the odds are somewhere around 1 in 90 or 1 in 100 for 5 times in the last 6 draws. Another rare event embedded in those numbers: 3 numbers were from 4 draws back and 3 from 5 draws back...
