Is it possible to be anonymous in a non anonymous state?
We'll find out shortly here in New Hampshire. Attorneys for last months big Powerball winner will be in court tomorrow seeking an order that will allow her to remain anonymous. Tonight's news had a story about this. She may also have another avenue to stay secretive. A state senator will be introducing a bill this week to allow lottery winners to remain anonymous. Even if it does pass it would appear unlikely to retroactively protect our winners identity.

Now how would that even be possible? With those states out of the game the jackpot would pretty much roll forever. We would for sure see our first billion dollar jackpot with those states gone because it's not too easy to win in states like North Dakota, New Hampshire, etc
