Yes, that is true a lot of people will start playing the guy's lucky numbers but he knows even if people do play his numbers, it will not lessen the money he receives when he wins on them again. Besides when playing pick 3, pick 4 and pick 5, you don't know when to play them or for how long. Most lotteries will say they do ask the players by looking at sales figures. In Maryland about 26% of the total sales are pick 3, 4, and 5 games. The next question should be of those over 26% buying tickets, how many watch the live drawings. Not making excuses for computer RNG drawings but there are lots of other places to get results without watching the live drawings. A even though some states show animated cartoonish drawings, at the end of the day, we can't watch the actual computer RNG

Remember in an analysis of anonymity for a state, it is not typically just a yes or no like Maryland where it is 100% anonymous and they stress that fact. Anonymity can be limited based on a time period and/or amount won, type of game, and subject to state FOIA and similar laws. Or if a state says no to anonymity, it MAY allow you to claim via a llc or trust. And whether your name is released as the winner will also vary. So it is not just a simple yes or no answer.
