Virginia Lottery officials say time is running out for the person who bought a winning $250,000 ticket in Virginia Beach. That ticket is about to expire. Someone bought a Mega Millions ticket for the October 17, 2006 drawing at Food Eagle at 2021 Independence Blvd. in Virginia Beach. According to Virginia Lottery rules the ticket expires after 180 days, which will occur at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16.
