Prob988, California just started a promotion in the previous draw in Mega Millions regardless if jackpot is rolled or not. If CA matches 5 numbers, but not the Mega Ball, some more money is added to that prize pool. I'm guessing 60 million the jackpot rolls again.

Bradly, Mega Millions in California has a promotion. From January 21st to February 17th, Mega Millions is adding more than $1 million to the 5/5 pool. People winning 5/5 will get lucky. An example occurred in January 24th [last draw], when someone won $365K matching 5/5.

I played 2 separate QP's in IL but don't think I will play unless the jackpot is higher than 100 mil. I don't like the tripler promotion. It only triples the lower tier prizes $2 - 10 but I do like the fact that I didn't have to pay a extra dollar for it. I see GA is giving 1 QP for every 5 your spend on it.

Yeah, it brings a smile to my face to see the desperation they are feeling at the MA lottery. I have never seen a promotion like this for any other game in the 20+ years I've been following the lottery.

Yeah if Ohios RedBall is anything like Michigans Red Ball promotion it deals with Pick 3. If the red ball comes up they draw another Daily 3 number for the same drawing.Just one more rollover though! Just one! We can't beat the record. But it seems to be on track to sell $100,000,000 worth of tickets for this drawing. That means there is only a 25% chance that there will be a rollover. Brad

To Mrcoolsoul,You matched three (07 14 41) in your first line so you get a free QP. If you had a number 05 with those three you would win $5. Check the back of your playing card, it gives you the prizes and odds of winning. The QP for a match three is a promotion that just started the 25th of September.RJOh

Nobody ever wins, ressuccess. Accept it... I did win a buck and even tho I bought 5 lines they gave me 6. I checked the website to see if they were doing a promotion but found nothing. I checked to see if any signs in the store promoting it but nada. You would think the Calif Lottery would have the brains to advertise their promotions. The whole purpose of these promos are to sell more tickets.

I ordered some lines a few days ago, but my numbers don't kick in until December 27! I asked her why it's going to take so long to start and she said that that's when the promotion tickets start. I will get my tickets in 2 weeks, but I'm not checking my lines to see if my numbers pop up until the first drawing.
