So someone won the C4L jackpot. The interesting thing is the number of players the lottery said played (75,416). Personally I think those numbers are low, and I wonder what the numbers for Sweet Million was before they ended that game. Personally I only play C4L when they have a promotion. Cash4Life winner

So far I have spent $23 and won $12. NY Lottery has a promotion this month, buy one $5 ticket and get $1 your next purchase. I only purchase one per draw. I have to admit its a little price. Just matching the property number (1-28) the payout is $7 which is a complete joke. The Power-Ball number (1-35) match pays $4. It should be at triple the amount for a $5 ticket. Theres only a 4% chance of even matching the property number.

The California Powerball mini-jack rolls again -- it was over $6m yesterday so look for $6.2m or $6.3m on Saturday's drawing. Also, the 6-for-5 promotion doesn't seem to be having an impact on 2nd Chance plays -- 1.10m entries in the last week without the promo, 1.12m entries in the first week with the promo. Maybe not too many people knew about it the first week? I don't think I'm going to be saving my entries though.

I play SM, but not as much as I play Take5. When I do play, I buy a couple of bucks worth, unless they have the buy 5 dollars get 3 QP's free promotion. I've been keeping an Excel spreadsheet on SM, and I color code the four decades . I've noticed that multiple numbers in thirty's being drawn is very commonplace. Picking three numbers from the thirty's seems to me to be a smart play.

Looks like they stopped the buy 5/get 3 free promotion for August. That sucks. They are offering a buy 10/get 2 free with powerball. That sort of sucks too.

I have never missed a draw and don't ever intend to. I am frustrated that I have not (at least) gotten a 5 of 6 yet. My own faulty analysis. Go for it. I just wish they would bring the buy 5 get 3 free promotion back.

Looks like they're NOT doing the buy $5, get $3 free promotion in March. Instead, they're running a Take 5 buy $10, get $3 free promotion. I wonder if the lottery is keeping this game running to prove that a $1 million jackpot game doesn't work despite players' insistence that such a game would be popular.
