Powerball is coming to Georgia
I'm up watching the news due to the crazy weather. Saw a commercial stating that Powerball is coming to Georgia. First draw is January 22nd. Georgia will have both games. Mega Millions and Powerball. Which I think will be cool. Now folks won't have to cross state lines to play when the jackpots grow in size. It's my understanding South Carolina will be getting Mega Millions. I never paid attention to powerball much before, but will begin to do so.

My Version Of The Georgia Lottery
Well, not much to say. Lotto South has about the same odds/payout ratio as Lotto Georgia. And Cash 3 and Cash 4 both have midday drawings, and have pair payouts. There are only two things I would change.Quick DrawCould stand to increase the payouts a little. Make the 2 spot prize $10 instead of $9, for example.Fantasy 5They need to advertise an estimated jackpot, not just post how much is in the jackpot after the drawing and just put it on the website. Also, increase the dang 4 out of 5 payoffs!

The Matrix of Lotto South is high enough, period. In Georgia we need a 6 number game with a lower matrix. Our very successful Lotto Georgia 6/46 was discontinued in favor of joining Lotto South. Lotto Georgia was fun to play although jackpots didn't skyrocket, and most of all we were able to win every once in awhile which is a definite incentive for me to play more. However with the higher matrix of Lotto South 6/49 wins are less often, fun of playing has plummeted .... and I don't play very

It may behoove Tennessee, West Virginia and DC to get together and form their own version of Lotto South; maybe they could call it Lotto East or something.If they join Lotto South, it would create 2 problems:1.
