I've only been playing the lottery for a few years, so I wasn't sure what Georgia used to have before Lotto South.I googled Lotto Georgia to see what it was like, and it appears that it was a pretty good game. Lotto South is a text book example of a high matrix game not delivering desired jackpots. Players have seen jackpots in both Mega Millions and Powerball raised by matrix increases, making odds of winning far more difficult. I'm not really sure what the Kentucky Lottery's reasonings were for joining Lotto South. Maybe lottery players in Kentucky aren't playing Lotto South as much as they anticipated.I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Kentucky's dropping it is because Kentucky players rarely win. Georgia and Virginia almost always win the jackpots. Of course, Kentucky lottery players are actually in an enviable position, because most of the money that raises the jackpot amount is coming from Georgia and Virgini
