2 Winners for Mega Millions!
Congratulations to the jackpot winners in MM for New Jersey and Georgia. California found out that there were 9 second prize winners, but no jackpot winners to split with New Jersey and Georgia.

The end of Lotto South
A good many folks liked playing Lotto Georgia, before the GLC ended the game. It was a great game with 6/46 matrix, drawn once per week. I'd like to see the return of Lotto Georgia, in its original format.

lotto south poll
You are my hero!!! Would you please email the Georgia Lottery and let them know your views?? The squeaky wheel gets the most grease!!I don't have the accounting figures but believe that Lotto Georgia drawn once a week brought in more inflation adjusted dollars and actual dollars than Lotto South.

A first for Lotto South..
Something strange is going on. Even when Georgia had Georgia Lotto, the jackpot rolled by at least $1 million each time the jackpot was not won. Now, with 5 additional states, they can't even manage a $1 million roll? Sounds like it's time for a change. Maybe more numbers or a bonus number feature. Thanks,John - LA

money after cash value and taxes
dumb question #1 ; will a person fare better tax wise in a state with no state tax on lottery winnings like california? or how about a state like georgia that grabs 6% state tax? for face value it seems a californian would fare better, but then there some tax idiosyncracies that i may not be aware of that would favor a player from georgia.i am talking about a lump sum after tax jackpot (mega millions).thanks, VISION

Time to change Mega Millions

Time to change Mega Millions
Georgia used to be a PowerBall state, but in her infinite wisdom(which she has taken to Tennessee), Ms. Paul decided to drop it in favor of Mega Millions, which promised MEGA jackpots.Looks to me like PB is always larger than MM....BTW--she also said that dropping the Georgia Lottery ( pick 6 ) and replacing it with Lotto South would be better, but it has pitiful ticket sales and very low jackpots. 1 winner in mega for 150 in georgia
wonder if they have to change the rules to make the jackpots bigger - seems like mega has 1/2 the jackpots that powerball gets.looks like i was wrong about it going on up though - i saved my money so i can waste it on the wa. state lottery instead - im playing all my tickets with a plus number of 16 again. only 2 more drawings before it switches back to a 6/49 game

Question for everyone
There are no states with both. I think the last state to have both was Georgia, when it first created The Big Game. After it created that game, MUSL kicked Georgia out.Texas toyed with the idea of bringing both games to the state this year, but the multi-state lotteries were not receptive.
