ND to join Hot Lotto

I missed this comment when you posted it earlier this week. It's an interesting point, and makes sense to me.However, the counter-point would be that Georgia does stand to lose a certain amount of money that it currently makes in sales of Mega Millions tickets to Tennessee border residents.

Georgia Weekly Winfall: missing numbers corrected by the lottery
Georgia lottery players who played Winfall, you may want to check your tickets again. Georgia left off 10 winning numbers from the official list published on June 30. If you have a ticket with one of the missing numbers, it would in fact have validated correctly at any lottery retailer's lottery terminal, but if you only checked the list you would find the number missing. Back on July 1st, a Lottery Post reader alerted me to the fact that the list of $500 winners only contained 1,490 numbe

I have a question about payments.
Below is what the State of Georgia does http://www.galottery.com/gen/aboutUs/faq.jsp#14 Q.Are State Federal Taxes withheld on Georgia Lottery Prizes? A.Yes. All Georgia Lottery prizes are subject to applicable federal and state withholdings, and state and federal income taxes. The GLC reports to the IRS and Georgia Department of Revenue the names of winners of prizes of $600 and above. Georgia: All or Nothing
There wasn't a forum for this game so I decided to create one. So the game just started for us Georgia Players today, I'd like to see how the ones who played did. I only played the Night portion of the drawings and only played 1 QP for $2 and matched 4 numbers for a breakeven win of $2. So I'm 1 for 1 in this game. So far so good. How about everyone else?

$132 million Mega Millions jackpot was purchased in Mableton, Georgia.
I don't put so much stock in annuity dollars earned per state (as far as JPs are concerned). The reason: California could win three jackpots at 12, 16 and 24 million respectively but Georgia, with only a fraction of California's population, can also win three but $100 million each. While you look at the annuities, Cali has $52 million and Georgia has $300 million, you look at the number of JPs won, and cross reference it with the population base. Now, one could say people in Georgia play the
