Why is keno so hard to win?
If I played that many lines on Keno in Norway I would probably only afford to do it once a week. The cheapest option for gambling on the official Keno (which is drawn once a day) in Norway is close to US $ 0.75 per line. Usually I limit myself to 4-5 lines per day.

'National' game?
If they would make the winnings from a national lottery non-taxable, it would make a big difference. A tax-free top prize would appeal to many players and the government would get it back in increased ticket sales.Making the national lotto tax free would make it more appealing than Powerball and Mega Millions where players have to pay 60% off the top. This would only be available if the player chose the lump sum payment. Norway already does this. Why not the good old USA?Orangeman

The Texas Multi-State Lottery Battle!
We need to abolish both MM and PB in favor of a national federally sponsored lottery that could be used for big public works projects like building a 100-foot-tall wall between the U.S. and Mexico! It could be a 5-60 format with a 1-60 powerball. Maybe two powerballs . . . It would generate half billion dollar jackpots. For an extra sweetener, all winnings could be income tax free like they do in Norway. Orangeman

MM annuity equivalent in PB: $93M.
I would diversify quite a bit with respect to countries. New Zealand, Japan, Australia (huge uranium reserves) Sweden, Norway, France, and Canada would probably top my list. I would also consider certain industries in India. All of these countries will experience pain with the collapse of the US economy, but I expect that a person who is wealthy because of his holdings in these nations will still be wealthy. Many major nations have declined after being the most stable. Foreign Lotteries Sound Off!! Can Foreigners Play Your Lottery?
I've already asked this question about the Euro Millions Lottery and learned that you have to be a resident of the participating country to play the Euro Millions Lottery. My question is does this same rule apply to the regular lotteries ran in foreign countries. Australia, Austria, Bargados, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Caribbean, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Dominican Republic, England, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamica, Japan, Korea, Latvia
