Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Thanks for posting the info doc links for SM and HG. Is there one like this for 2MJ? I'm curious as to how many total statewide books remain? I'm thinking 2MJ is the best chance to find the jackpot since all signs are that it is in the last pool (somewhere after 250K) and could very well be out there for sale (or should be). But I also was thinking about the previous post of how tickets are claimed by FL Lotto when retailers change ownership. So when Bi-Lo (parent of Winn-Dixie) bought Sweet

Actually, the odds for the $250 prize appear to be pretty rough: 1 in 800. I agree that I'm pretty satisfied with the prize structure. Personally, I'd prefer if they dumped the $5M prize and added that to the $1M prize pool. That would make the $1M odds: 1 in 840,000. As far as the old $20 games, some games such as the Billion Dollar Blockbuster had superior odds to any current $20 game, especially considering that it had a $1M prize and $10M prize. It is getting harder to compare the old $20

After looking at the emergency rule, there are a few observations: They added a $250 prize which is a nice middle tier prize. The $500 prize odds appear to be 1 in 179 which is better than the current $600GR of 1 in 197. They achieve these two changes by the following: there is no second chance raffle like the original Gold Rush family which dipped into the prize pool. They eliminated the entire $5,000 prize tier. The odds of winning $1,000 go from 1 in 3,333 in the $600GR to the new odds of

The worst of the worst--New York scratch offs
About 2 months ago I went to a gas station near a pool hall I frequent as I talk scratch offs with the guy all the time. He likes to steer me towards winners. He suggested I try the $25 NY Millions game on this night as a guy had been in there earlier purchased tickets 34 down to 22 they were all losers. I know he he was telling me the truth as he showed me the torn up tickets in the trash which were all torn the same way. Needless to say I purchased the next 4 won on 3 of the 4 made some mon

True, this would be good info. There's definitely the possibility 1 might be out there, but if Adam's hit was in the second distribution pool then the point in playing could be questionable. What if $10 Holiday Gifts had an irregular top prize distribution like Super 7 which had multiple top prizes are hit within days of the release? Perhaps both of the jackpots were in the later pools for the $10 Holiday gift. At any rate, I'm definitely done with scratching the $10 Holiday Gifts now lol. That

florida 25 doller scratch tickets is a scam
They typically aren't published but you can obtain them via open records / Freedom of Information (FOIA) requests. The states all use the same, small pool of ticket vendors and they all have GLEPS. A quick google search brings up this document, this one, this one, and even a patent....all discussing or mentioning GLEPS. I know that the lottery in Texas actually makes their GLEPS available for public viewing on their website. Most lotteries aren't this candid. There isn't anything specifically se

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Thanks for doing the calculations for us! We'd used to have someone do it for us couple of years ago. The CA Lottery reports 80% instead of the 81.4% you've calculated since they expect retailers to force the customer to play another $30 Ticket rather than giving back $30 in cash to do what they want. Most retailers here give cash back to the players, and the places with kiosks have to give out cash. If you negate the TICKET prizes from the pool, they will come up with 80% return (sti

This part is particularly interesting: All eligible non-winning Scratchers launched BEFORE January 1, 2015 and submitted into 2nd Chance AFTER January 1, 2015, will be entered into that game s specific End of Game draw AND the Weekly Pool draw! See FAQ s below for more information. I'd hold off entering any tickets until the start of the new year so you can get entered into both draws. I understand limiting the amount of tickets entered per month. But what's to keep someone from just cr

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
Cool! At least the $1000 doesn't get taxed. It won't hurt me none for filing next year. All of my income so far is non taxable and I get write offs. I started to save my losing tickets too. I haven't played in awhile so I'm getting a bit anxious about hitting a big one. I don't get many and the most I have ever won on a single scratcher is $100. Gosh! My pool of playing money is almost dry. I might hit my favorite store later tonite.
