Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Someone fix my math or confirm it for me: FL website shows $5 Monopoly as having 12 grand prizes. Odds of hitting it are 1 in 2,000,000 That comes to 24,000,000 tickets. Now. The FLRules filing for the $5 Monopoly shows: 200 pools of 180,000 tickets per pool. That comes to 36,000,000 tickets. I checked the FLRules filing for $5 Flamingo and the numbers match, so I'm not crazy - they should match. Gatorsrok? Thoughts?

Very interesting indeed. I don't know if any other $1 games have sold out at that rate. The $1 Flamingo still has 45/100 prizes, and the $2 Flamingo seems to be releasing jackpots at a very controlled rate... I noticed that two $1 Monopoly jackpots were hit in Deltona, FL (within a 1 day time span). I find that extremely interesting. I used to live in that part of Florida, and would be curious. I imagine the book numbers were very close, perhaps being an irregular distribution within tha

In the 50X game, there are supposedly 3 Jackpot winners remaining. This one is a little more iffy. The FL Lottery facebook page had tickets posted of winners of the 20th (591K), 17th (516K), and 16th Jackpots (491K). There are a total of 24 Jackpots in this game and the rolls appear to go up to 625K, and based on the odds in this game, the two jackpots for the 18th and 19th winners would fit comfortably in between 516K and 591K. I don't have the information for the 21st winner, but if he won on

With the $5 ticket, I feel like they've took a risk. The chances of hitting the top jackpot is bad compared to $5 games we've seen recently, however, the chances of hitting $5k might be one of the best we've seen (since the existence of scratchoff tickets, can a veteran confirm?) 1 in 30k for a $5k prize on a $5 ticket would be a pretty nice hit. The $500 odds isn't bad, 1 in 2.4k which is comparable to the $5 Winning (or losing) streak. This $20 ticket might be one of the best

Neither the regional District Offices nor the main headquarters (which is a DO itself) send tickets to retailers. What books they have, they keep and sell themselves. Tickets are delivered to retailers from a warehouse managed by a third party. The only exception to this, which I've had explained to me but never been able to verify by seeing in practice, is that sometimes a Lottery rep will take an unopened book from one store where it's been sitting for a long time and personally transfer it to

Ditto. I had 5 tickets myself, plus a 6th that I entered into a pool at work with 7 other people. All together we had 13 tickets, and not a lousy $100 on any one of them. I've never won anything on any of the tickets I have purchased. But I'll probably always continue to buy those, it really is a much much better chance at a million. Oh well... PA Lotto got me for another hundred beans. Getting closer to being 1K in the hole for this year, if there is a bright side t

Great wins from some of you lately! Hopefully I find something somewhat decent here soon, on a cold wave of $400 worth. I sold a 50/50 style ticket to someone from my first job, to benefit the pool team that I shoot on. She won the $100 prize on the ticket I sold her, and she bought me a $10 WoZ lottery ticket today in return. Of course, it was a dud, but it was a nice gesture. As far as people telling you what to do with your money, tell them to sit on it. As long as

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
CALottery is still the only realistic option for the common person to attempt to win $100k or million dollars, but comes at unfavorable odds, should be kept to a safe minimum so that is the reason I called it a pot shot. Casino gaming is the best option to try to win hundreds or even a few thousand, and maybe have a good time to go along with it. I forgot to bring this up, last Thursday I got a survey invitation from the CALottery with regards to a new 2nd Chance program for scratchers. Th

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Not much action going on these days. Contrary to this thread, I have been buying SuperLotto Plus tickets lately since the jackpot is growing and the 2nd chance promotion. Probably a jackpot will hit since Powerball is reset. Probably will go back to scratchers soon. Looking at the 2nd chance programs for Fantasy 5 and SuperLotto Plus, I wish the Pool drawings for scratchers were more frequent and more winners selected. 10 $1k winners every 3 months and a top prize (ranging from 9 to 18

Baby steps in Scratch Offs
Overall odds of 1 in 3.20 means (on average) 1 out of every 3.20 is a winner. Odds of 1 in 480,000 means for every 480,000 tikets, 1 of those is a Top Prize of 50,000 That does necessarily mean that if you buy 4 tickets in a row that one will be a winner...You could have 10 losers in a row, then in another roll of tickets have 3 winners in a row. Its the Over-all odds for the entire pool of tickets printed. ** BTW - each prize level is for the total tickets in that gam
