It sounds like the store you go to does not appreciate your business that you bring to them. So I would find another store that likes to sell lotto and don't pay any attention to old farts that run their mouths. I like to shop at lotto stores that welcome lotto players and are helpful with your purchases. Big apple store and even circle k is getting better at this lately here in my hometown of mcminnville oregon. Good luck cher!-weshar75

Best Scratch Off State
I haven't had too much experience with tickets. So I can't really say what my favorites are. I've played Washington, Idaho, Oregon scratch-offs and I guess they seem about the same to me. I really don't play them that often.

$30 Scratcher
I would hate it if oregon had that high of scratchers because I would not buy them. And the top prize usually is bad for that high of a ticket.

Favorite Instant Game
I like to play the new games that start every month for the oregon lottery. I try not to play the 1 dollar games but I like to play the 2, 3, and 5 dollars that they bring out if they come out that month. One or two at a time. Sometimes they have games that I don't like so I won't play for a month or two.

Lotteries Using Identical Game Styles.
I know in oregon they have 5 dollar scratchers to themes: one is anything about las vegas and the other is the number 7. Examples are : hot vegas nights, vegas nights, super 7's, blazing 7's, diamond spectacular 7's. It would be nice for the game makers to make different games instead of thinking that the public can't handle different games. I always like to try the new games that come out every month but some of them do suck.

Free Ticket.
Oregon does that on megabucks if you get 3 numbers and you don't pay for the kicker option you get a free ticket. They also do it on some of their scratch tickets like the win for life tickets. I would like to have my dollar back then get a free ticket because I have never won off of a free ticket.

Does anyone collect scratch tickets?
I like to collect lotery tickets from all the states I visit. Right now I think I have lottery tickets from 32 different states and provinces. To me Oregon and Wash offer the best games. NY the worst. Kentucky and its cashball intrigues me too.

Washington State Lottery
I hear ya! $10 and up cards are the way to go for those who can afford them - larger top prizes and better odds of getting a winner. Washington is a pretty state, but the weather sucks in general compared to the southeastern U.S. Rain and snow out the ying-yang. And yes, I've been there numerous times - used to live in Portland, Oregon.

Have you ever had a store clerk split the cost of an Instant?
I have never had a clerk ask to split a ticket cost with me but I have seen clerks play at their own store in sheridan, oregon years ago. Which put me at a disadvantage as a scratch-its player because they would sit their on their shift and watch tickets all day or as long as their shift was. Then they would buy tickets when it became in their favor I saw a clerk win $5000 on a $10 holiday themed scented scratch-it around christmas time. I will never forget it because I was going to buy the tick

Post your scratch ticket results
I will admit that I had not played scratch-its in years so mom gave me $60 to play the lotto so I want to try a new oregon ticket so I went to albertsons grocery store here in mcminnville and got #47 thru #56 of $1 Lucky Stars . The top prize is $800 and the clerk was helpful but maybe she had not sold any tickets that day because she was way to excited for $1 tickets. So I scratched the first one dud and then the next one was a $1 winner and the rest of the tickets were losers. So $10 in $1 out
