Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Hello jackpotchasing. I hope you eventually get that big jackpot prize that you are searching for. The $20 Flamingo (highest rolls here are 834k) was tempting due to its $100k, $1M and $5M prize tiers. It paid for those prizes by making those $150-$500 prizes very rare to win. I don't plan on giving up on it altogether, but I agree that 1 or 2 tickets at a time is my maximum exposure. Even the $20 GRD and SM gave me better payouts. I have many $100 and $500 prizes on the new GRD and SM (beating

I went through 2.5 rolls of SM with nothing above $100 today. I agree that the high number of $1,000 prizes claimed for SM is out of place given the odds and rolls sold. But there are a few explanations as well: some people may have waited until the new year to claim the prize even if they won late last year to avoid paying taxes on the winnings for 2016; also, there is the possibility of a few super rolls like you encountered with a $100k and a $1k win; finally, we have seen that many stores se

Bought a $3 crossword and (3) $1 tickets, won $2.00 and Free $3 Ticket. Played $5 more and lost. Next I purchased a $2 Electric 7's (#15) and $10 Mystery Crossword (#27; #23 was also a loser.) Lost $18! I am somewhat interested in going to the Spin the Wheel event for Chinese New Year; it requires a $20 lotto purchase to spin the wheel. Last time I went about 2 years ago it cost $10... I wonder if its better now or just costs more! (I spent $30 last time and got three spins. You had the

That is one of the most frustrating thing about the vendor lists. It is not completely accurate. On several occasions, I received the list for a game (100X, $5K L4L) and a top prize was claimed about a week later for that game. I cross referenced the list to the store in the FL Lotto announcement and the store was not listed as having the game on the list. I don't know if it is purposeful or just bad recordkeeping. I kind of think its the latter. Nothing would be more annoying than some loca

My two cents on the $5M prize in the Flamingo Multiplier is that the range can easily be closer to 680k to 730k. Based on claimed prizes from the instant liability report, I'd bet the $5M prize is in the upper 600s or very low 700s. Either way, it will probably get hit before the end of October. The $1M prizes are at their normal distribution, meaning that I am not expecting a $1M prize for another few weeks (ditto for the $100k prize). So that means you are playing for the $5M prize with minima

Oldghost is correct about the exact calculation of the numbers. For example, the $200MS is due for a top prize every 25,000 rolls (1,500,000 odds divided by 60 tickets to a roll). However, in order to avoid predictability, the lottery does two things: The rolls are sequentially numbered but not all roll numbers are used. That is why the $200MS print run goes to 557,000+ rolls despite the fact that only 509,756 rolls were printed. As a side note, they printed an extra 9,756 rolls for the $200

Best way to buy?
It would be best to purchase 20 consecutive tickets, as the odds are that there will most likely be at least 3-4 winners. I would go with the Set for Life $10.00 tickets, those are the most popular. As for buying 2 whole packs of $1 tickets, I wouldn't do it. And besides, each pack would cost $250.00, whereas you'd be spending only $200 for 20 of the $10 tickets. Good luck with the upcoming event!!

Personally I hope that the state does not go out of its way to protect us from ourselves. If someone is intent on buying tickets, they will buy two $10 tickets instead of one $20 ticket. Given the constant record sales, I don't foresee anything changing in the near future. The politicians will be too addicted to the greater revenues to want to put a stop to it. In any event, I have finally gotten around to buying tickets again. I've been focusing on the $10 holiday ticket given the two $2M pr

Nice hit for your co-worker. The odds on the $1,000 and up prizes on the Flamingo game are not too bad. It is the middle tier prizes ($150-$500) that are horrible. They really should have eliminated the $150 and $400 prize levels and just made the $200 and $500 prize reasonable to hit. In any event, the BDB was a pain in the butt to scratch. I can't remember how many times I nearly scratched through a number. It is a shame, since that was really the last good $20 game released in a long time

After having looked at the emergency rule, the structure of the winning combinations is almost identical to the 100X the Cash. They basically just made it into a $20 game. In any event, I'll buy a few on Tuesday and see how I fare. At least there is a $1M second place prize instead of the $100K most of the other $20 games have. Good luck to everyone.
