Do people have more luck just buying one scratch ticket at a time as opposed to buying 2 or more?Reply
I alos use to buy every ticket in the machine..just one of each..most of the time I lose big this way.. If you buy just one ticket, you are at a significant disadvantage. Many players chase wins: playing until a win and then stop. Or some people (and clerks) are ticket hawks: waiting to see a customer hit a string of losers and then pounce on the roll to try and snag a win. Spent $30 at Giant and got a small profit, winning $32. Results: 1 20x the Money (#042) - lost 2 Lucky Cherry Slots (#058 and #059) - #059 won $15 total with a triple cherry. then i really must ask why you choose scratch offs to chase that kind of prize, it makes no sense. your better off BY FAR going to a atlantic city blackjack table or even slot machine and trying for a 1k-5k win. the odds on blackjack using basic strategy gives the house only a 2% edge , the slots are only a 5-10% edge .. meaning on both games you have better odds to come out ahead. on scratch offs, by law (except 2 states) they only return 65% of whats taken in. you know that half of

Our automated machines had the new released games- Lucky Cherry slots- ($5) game- on ticket #002= won 20$ Went in to cash it and play Winner take all- Hit the button to get the tickets and out pops 2 (20X the money game tickets) I was furious , Til I scratched them LOL!!! These Tampa wins lead me to believe that there may not be any more 1 Mil. wins on FMC in the tampa bay area but you never know, maybe one of the 3Mil. win will be over this way since a couple of the 1 Mil. were. I voted 4 - 10. It depends how much money I have on me..of course the ATM is so nicely located RIGHT BESIDE the IVM but I don't like to do that because if I don't win off the first, I don't like playing the next. I do like to buy 1 each of the $20's and usually that's 4 in the machine if they are all stocked. I won't touch any if they 'doubled up' which more and more places are doing. Alright, so my gf was nagging to buy a book after I said I kinda wanted to buy one. So we did, stopped by Publix and grabbed a book of 60 tickets of the 2500 a week for life ($5 ea, total of $300) and went to the machine near the register, bought two $20 Flamingo Fortunes. Also not a scratch ticket result but a good one just the same. Atlantic City trip this week. Monday thru yesterday. Stayed at the Atlantic Club. The old Hilton. This place has gone back to the way it used to be. BEFORE all the other states opened their own casinos and cut into AC's revenue. We have been going to casinos for over 20 years and saw first hand the great times you used to have and the lousy trips of the past few years. All due to the big corp takeovers of the gaming industry. C
