Best State Lottery for Scratchers?
Most of the sales for the various lotteries are done in scratch off sales so it would figure that there is a higher percentage of winners. Most every state lottery has a website and they have a winners circle (people who have won) and or press releases. Here in Maryland someone almost aways wins on a sizable scratch off every other day. While it doesn't bother me that people win it dose bother me that people continue to purchase tickets for the various scratch off's even though the top ti

Jackpot code on scratch tickets
I could use one of those L I F coded tickets, but that's another story. People who are buying scratch-offs, looking at codes, then tossing them are usually addict gamblers. Perhaps they should be cut-off like we do for alcohol. But at the same time, I don't believe you can save a person from themself. Do you ever tell those people to scratch the whole ticket? If not, set up a basket or box on the counter for dead tickets. One day at a store in Maryland that sells Keno, I decided to use

Scratching
Long time browser of this forum and been scratching for 7 years off and on usually when I don't get to a casino. But Maryland scratch off are really terrible in my opinion. But anyways been chasing the Baseball Bucks tickets and was tempted to buy the $5 book. There wasn't any available tickets so the teller put the new book in But instead used the $40 in my pocket and that lasted a bit. Withdrew $100 and that was enough to finish the book. Nothing great mostly $10s, $25 and a $50. Had $

I learned one thing when I was in Tennessee last year for vacation, Don't play their scratch-offs, They are misleading and the Number Matrix on a $20 Game Sucks! Number Matrix comparsion! Colorado/Kentucky/Tennessee/California/Maryland/New Jersey/New York: 1 to 50 Georgia/Illinois/Ohio/Pennsalvania/Iowa: 1 to 40 Florida: 1 to 39!

Skeptic, Thanks for looking up all that info! I meant to reply to you earlier. THANKS!!! I'm back in Florida, but I had a couple days after seeing your post--and I stuck to the 100K/year games. Of course, I got a few Diamond Dazzlers too, since that was the game I hit the $500 on...hahaha....... didn't have any luck in the last home stretch before leaving Ohio. Ended up chasing tickets at one store, and my luck kind of fizzled out! That's how it goes, though!! Now, my flight from Clev

I like the black; that's different for PA. Reminds me of things like Maryland Black. I was daring and put my $54 in as another Wawa had Diamond Millionaire and Mini Multiplier - no Mustang. Got #014-020 Mini Multiplier - only got 2 free tickets this time Diamond Millionaire was already up to #021! Someone probably ticket hawked, but if so they left winners. I won $25 on both #021 snd #022. So, basically got my money back on outing #2.

How Many Do You Buy at a Time & Other ??
I enjoy buying a few scatch-offs every evening. It depends on the odds as you said as to how many I buy at a time. I usually buy 3-6 of the $2.00 tickets if the odds are below 1 in 3.60. I may buy 4 of the $5.00 tickets if the odds are good. But, lately I have been purchasing the $10.00 (10 x the money) tickets, here in Maryland because the odds are the best at 1 in 2.68. I will usually buy 2-4 of these if my money is right. The amount of tickets vary each week and the amount I spend also

PA New Year's Raffle 2022 - How many tickets are remaining?
Hi everyone, new poster here. Site is awesome and very informative. Does anyone know how many PA (Pennsylvania) New Year's raffle tickets remain for sale? I tried calling the PA lottery, but they don't answer their phones and ask you to call back the next business day. I'm in Maryland and would like to make a road trip up there if enough tickets can still be had. The VA raffle has been sold out a few days ago. Thanks for any help and good luck to all!

should i buy the rest of these scratch offs?
Where do you live in Maryland because most of the winners are sold in the Baltimore area. How much did you spend on the small return? Did you look on line to see what amounts are left? It appears to me you are hooked on scratch offs. No one knows where winners are but, chances are you will lose if you play long enough. I know people that have purchased whole rolls and to this day have made little profit if any. No major hits. GL

Letter Validation Codes on Tickets ? Are they ALWAYS correct ?
I buy a lot of scratch offs in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Apparently, MD has no ryhme nor reason to letters that appear when you scratch off certain areas of the tickets. But in Pennsylvania I was told losing code letters by a gas station manager. He told me that Q , B , D , P , K , Z are ALWAYS losing tickets. I hope he is right because at this point I dont scratch further when I see those letters. I wonder if the letters are 100% foolproof though. He told me winning tickets have
