Quinto pays 50 grand for a dollar..................that might be the better shot at 50 grand! In any event hope your luck gets better...........it sounds like the front of the books of the new releases might be harsh. On the new instant games its good to scan the tickets just to double check since there are no codes.

Loosing Lottery Tickets To Save Them Or Not?
Hi, I am also a new member. However, I believe the loosing tickets are for the year in which you win. The loosing tickets must be retained in the event the IRS asks for proof of this deduction when you file your tax return. Good Luck. I hope we both win huge jackpots in 2011 year!!! .

I was not on my normal routes/path today so just had to get a few tickets. I wasn't sure what I was going to get but wanted to see if anyone had the Cool 100,000. CircleK didn't have much variety stocked, lost on a Golden Goose, then ended up at another CircleK again sparse tickets, I didnt know what to get so they had a Casino Action and I won with the Double Joker but it was only 5.00 amt. x 2= 10.00. As soon as I saw the Joker, I was like c'mon baby, let's see 500 x 2 or more but nope. Th

Pennsylvania Is Lowering Payouts
The new batch of games coming 3/27 have lower payouts than what was previously offered. Now, $2 tickets pay out 60%, which is down from 64%. $3 tickets are down to 62%, as opposed to 65% from before. And $5 tickets have been lowered to 68% from 70%. You will also notice free tickets on $2, $3, and $5 games, perhaps even $10 and $20 tickets, from now on. I did e-mail the Lottery about this disturbing event. They probably won't do anything about it, but at least they know how I feel. I recommend y

"SuperBowl Pool" of Florida scrtach-offs
Hi GiveFive, nice adaptation of the age-old 10 x 10 parimutuel betting board. Question...were the $5 books where you did this 100 count ($500)?...or if less did you pocket some House $? Either way here in FL there are 60 tickets in a $5 book ($300 total) so unless you're looking to make House money on such a thing each square should be $3. I'd consider splitting the book and drawing 2 or even more winners perhaps, to up players chance of winning something but winner takes all of course simple an

It is very disappointing when a game is ended with top prize(s) remaining unclaimed. This happened with the $25 100X, Super Millions and $200M Spectacular (among many others). In some instances, people just throw away the ticket without realizing it was a top prize. The instant liability reports very strongly demonstrate that people throw away millions in prizes from bottom to top tier prizes when the winning ticket is a single number match. For example, one of your numbers is 21 and the 21 is a

Congrats everyone on the wins. Also, thank you Dracos for keeping us posted on the $2M JP and SM. On a side note, someone won one of the $5M prizes in the $20 Flamingo game. The serial number for that prize can be very telling as to whether the last top prize will be claimed. A serial number of 750k or more means the last prize was in the 600k and will likely never be claimed. In any event, I have been dabbling with the gold rush games. I got these wins over the last week. The $600M GR we

Scratcher ladder
Has anyone ever climbed the scratcher ladder ? As in, have you ever bought a small ticket with a limited amount of cash and won enough to enable you to buy the next ticket up? My experience with this is the time I spent my last few dollars on a $2 scratcher called 20,000 Taxes Paid , and won 20 dollars. Then, I bought 2 $5 Super 7s and won 50 dollars on one of them. I went to a different retailer after that and bought a handful of $10 games (several Millionaires Club and a 50X The Cas

I believe you are correct and I made the same note about the earlier print run having a few unclaimed top prizes before the reprint. I bought a decent number of them at the lotto district office this week in the 462k range (when I went to claim my $1k prize) and got murdered. I think the remaining 50X prizes are in the lower serial numbers and were probably thrown away or deactivated. I'm never buying another one of those tickets again. The $20 Flamingo game has been dry for a while. It may e

That is a good question. They are overdue for a new $20 game. The Flamingo Fortune is out of top prizes, the old $3M monopoly is out of top prizes (and impossible to find anyways), the $200K/Yr for Life is old but still active with a few top prizes and Super Millions is getting old but still has 3 top prizes. Even the new $3M monopoly game only has 1 top prize and 2 $500K prizes left. The $600M Gold Rush is not old just yet, but they have run through 6 of the 10 top prizes. I bet they will just
