Here's a Winning Tip for Scratoffs - Buy the 000 ticket!!
The Set For Life games tends to have fewer prizes overall as most of the money goes into that top prize at long odds so they tend to give a rather unsatisfactory feel in terms of winning intermediate prizes. The same is true of games so as the $50 game in Texas where a lot of the money goes into the top $10 million dollar prizes. Games such as the $20 Blockbuster are capitalized with a lot more money and the $100, $200, and $1,000 prizes occur more frequently. Even the Super Set For Life game wh

Oooo kayyyy, so it looks like they did update the pdf file of where winning scratch off's were won. The Goldrush Doubler has had the last $5mill claimed. Two more $1mill prizes, I believe. Why did it seem to take almost a week before it was properly updates? Give me the job, I'll do it the second I/the lottery is aware of it. lol I asked about it before because I believe the same thing happened to Super Millions where they said the top prize were all claimed but then a week or 2 later they put i

@ Giantfan - Depending on how many $100k prizes remain, the old $20 Gold Rush might still be the game to play. Do you know the total percentage of tickets sold through? Essentially a person would be playing for a chance to hit up to $100k, but the odds for that prize tier is better than any other game. Maybe it might be worth playing the $20 Lucky for Life since top prizes on that game should be due, and $25 World Class Cash. Even if the $20 Gold Rush has a $100 winner in almost every pack, that

Honestly Zzplay, I think you've hit the nail on the head and you've pointed out exactly why this strategy is flawed. Chasing scarce games is just so risky because of the pulling and resending to the warehouse that you've eluded to. What the hell happened to the earlier $5 Cash Fall prize that was supposed to be hit in the earlier part of the print? 2/8 jackpots unclaimed (25%) with only 1,000 books remaining (less than 0.001% supply) is NOT OKAY. This type of fishiness reminds me of what is goin

Hey all. I've played a bunch of scratchoffs today, and got absolutely wrecked! I targeted games which should have better odds of winning the top prize based on ILRS, and inventory reports. Played through about $150 worth of $5 Cash Fall, $150 worth of $5 Winning Streak, and $150 worth of random $20 tickets? The result...$150/$450 spent. I'm about to head to Greece tomorrow for a week vacation, so I cashed in what I got back and I'll use that while I'm over there. For anyone curio

Correct, partial books are destroyed and can't be sent to another location. These were unopened, whole books that were sent from another location. These books were sent from one store in Gainesville to another store, which is possible. I have been noting book numbers, so I recognized these books (the two 7k SM books and the 274k). The reason I recognized them is they are incredibly low. The 7k book numbers are from the very beginning of the SM print, and the 274k is also a much earlier

This is what really worries me about this whole process and questions whether chasing the dwindling books actually offers better odds or not. When you mentioned awhile back the lotto reps would come into the retailer and pick up open books for destruction w/o tallying the book numbers or anything to record what was being taken out of circulation, a lot of us looked at that as shady practices. But now I'm really wondering about the unopened books. There's an assumption that when these get picked

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
LFL started around 1/25/13. Scratch games typically run from 9-12 months. They don't always sell out all top prizes before the game is pulled. Sometimes there are many top prizes left unclaimed when a game is pulled. It's a marketing decision. But they sometimes extend and do a re-order on games that sell well and extend the game. We don't know the exact method of top prize insertion, but I doubt it's completely random. $10 LFL has 30M tickets and 10 top prizes. Imagine if they left it

Florida Jackpot Winners
I believe that is extremely possible. I mean, some people never claim Fantasy 5 tickets as I see them going unclaimed for months and months until they expire. I have a strong feeling some people strictly play by the codes and have tossed out Top Prize winners before. It happens quite a bit on Jackpot games, so Im sure it happens more than we think on scratchers. Supposedly the FL Lottery doesnt know when a Top Prize scratcher is bought, until it is actually claimed. (Not sure if I believe tha

How does scratch off lottery work?
I read that post, and there's no doubt about it, players in NY can not get a very clear picture of what the situation is with regard to the number of unclaimed top prizes for scratch off's. The New York Lottery destroys opened books of scratch-off's returned to them by retailers that have gone out of business. Not good because a top prize ticket could be destroyed. (I do think the odds on that happening are relatively small, but it's certainly possible that it could happen.) I've wondered if
