When is the right time to hang your lottery boots?
Take heart, we are in this together. There have been times when the jackpot resets to 20M and I buy a ticket every single draw and win nothing, aka zero, nada, the whole run until someone wins it at almost a billion. That's like 30 plus draws without winning a dime, lol. Well, I make it sound bad but that's 30 draws by $3 so that's $90 total But hey, it's still money right, I should have won even $3 at least lol. I always have better luck playing Lucky for Life.

Before and After!!
I would never try to outspend someone by buying more tickets. Look at the Monday PB draw. No one won second prize (1M) but millions of tickets were sold. Buying more and more to win the jackpot is just insane, you'll just end up broke. I totally agree than some people make this life a competition. Joe bought and iPhone 14, so will I. Reminds me of a Willie Nelson song.

Before and After!!
I know a lot has been said about what people will do should they win the jackpot. From, I will keep driving my 1970 Ford or 1980 Toyota, to I will stay in my current house, and on and on. I too have made such statement before to the effect of keeping it low and leading a normal life. However, the more I think of it the more I realize that there is a BEFORE and AFTER the win. All what we say is the BEFORE. You have not won the jackpot and the mind tries to be more rational. On

Massachusetts man and his dog claim $4 million lottery win
Plans to use prize to help Animal Rescue League A Massachusetts man brought his dog with him to claim a big lottery prize on Wednesday, and he plans to use part of his winnings to help animals. Peabody resident Paul Riley took Raven to Massachusetts Lottery headquarters in Dorchester, where he picked up a $4 million check for hitting the jackpot on a 100X Cash scratch ticket. Riley opted for a one-time payment and will take home $2.6 million before taxes. Some of that cash will go

lottery groups
Well, that's debatable. Personally, I don't believe the best way to get into any lottery drawing is with a group. The draw of the lottery, especially a game like Powerball, is winning a massive pile of life-changing cash. Getting into a group with perhaps dozens of others takes away the risk/reward ratio that Powerball offers. Really, if I wanted to have better odds of winning a smaller prize (think less than $5 million), I would play my in-state Cash 5 game. I don't need to worry about the

PHILOSOPHICAL*?
These are very wise words that hold true in many aspects of life. When is the best time to buy a house? It's not when property prices are soaring through the roof, rather it's when the prices are low. Farmers all over the world that don't use irrigation methods know when is the best time to plow the land and plant their crop based on the rainfall patterns, thus getting a bountiful harvest. The best time to make hay is when the sun is shinning. If you live off the grid in a remote

New York woman says she was winner of unclaimed $12 million Lotto jackpot from 1992
It was a comedy of errors. By Kate Northrop A New York woman has revealed that she was the winner of a $12 million Lotto jackpot that was never claimed in 1992. A lottery jackpot on the verge of expiring prompts many players to rifle through their drawers or shuffle the contents of their car glovebox around, searching for that fateful ticket that could change their life forever. For one New York woman, however, she knew she had won even before checking her own ticket, but at that po

$1.25 BILLION: Mega Millions jackpot set to deliver unimaginable wealth
A man prayed to God his entire life to win the lottery. A man prayed to God every day for 65 years. He prayed in the morning, at lunchtime, in the evening and just before he went to sleep. The man passed away and went to heaven. The man was rather upset with the Lord and sought him out. When the man found the Lord, he said I've been praying 65 years. Every day when I woke up, ate my lunch, had my dinner in the evening and just before I went to sleep. How come I never won?? An

$1.05 BILLION: Mega Millions keeps rolling after no winner Friday
I think you are my sibling from the other mother. I also don't do all of that, just my daily cup of lottery lol. Daily because where I live we have the 2by2. I normally buy a 42 day multi draw that's $42 then I forget about it. The daily jackpot is 22K and if you win on Tuesday it doubles to 44K. Then I do the Lucky for Life, buy a 20 day multi draw for $20. Then I just chill. For both of the above I do a terminal QP and it's essentially the same numbers over the duration. I feel
