EXTRA PLAY michigan
MI is changing the extra play 3 and 4 digit game. chances of winning will be 1 - 80 instead of 1 -1970. To accommodate the new prize structure, the way in which EXTRA tickets will win will also change. Every winning ticket will match in only one of the three (Daily 3) or four (Daily 4) columns. There will be no multiple-column matches. In addition, all prize amounts printed under each column, whether there is a match or not, will read $50. Instead of 2-500. I never did care for

PA "Super-6 Lotto" draws shifting
The controversial Super-6 Lotto game in Pennsylvania will be changing its draw nights starting next week to better accomodate the introduction of Powerball to the Keystone State late this month. Super-6 drawings will be held Tuesdays and Fridays starting June 11. NOTE: I still believe PA should replace this game with the new MUSL offering Hot Lotto . Even with the staggered draw nights, Powerball will immediately cut into Super-6 sales. The Super-6 game, as I've pointed out before, DOES NOT all

MEGA MILLIONS = MEGA BUST
The shorter odd of Big Game makes the game more exciting. More people can win the jackpot! Moreover, the jackpot roll over faster!!!You life will be pretty much the same with $300 Mil or $500 Mil. The point is you need to win!The problem is the astronomical odd stop people playing the MM, so where is the money for roll over to $500 Mil?If you are greedy enough to have more money try the self adjusted Big Game. Never buy the Big Game with jackpot smaller than $10 Mil. Buy it every 2 draws. You ca

OFFICIAL: New BG odds 1:135 million!!
Tom wrote:Does anyone have any thoughts on whether a lottery game where the odds are already astronomical needs to madeeven more astronomical? Would it be awful if they actuallyhad a winner every week or two, instead of 1 person winningan absurdly huge amount of money? To answer Tom's question, I think that if big Game brought aboard New York Ohio without changing the game's matrix and raising the odds ... than yes, you would witness more winners and lesser pools. And eventually, there would be

SC Palmetto Cash 5
This is my whole point of determining the winning format first before just selecting numbers first. Having that format first open doors instead of playing scattered different numbers like 10 quick picks play that predicted format 10 different time trying to target those exact winning numbers. The game is design max prize of 500,000 x5 per ticket they expecting someone to play maybe 3 different tickets possible powerup and get lucky of winning all 5 numbers yes it does happen when they select peo

Georgia Lottery News - Top prize sales - Are the odds changing?
It looks like we have had a few more top prize winners, but some games never seem to change. It appears that the game Big Win has had 2 $50,000 top prize winners turned in in the last three weeks. There was also 2 $35,000 top prize winners of Cashword 3. PIECES OF 8 sold the last 2 of the top $8,800 prizes, so that game should end soon, as all of the top prizes have been claimed. QUICK $100 has a top prize of $100, and has 38229 of 41043 top prizes claimed. 539 were claimed in this time period.

Tracking anomalies in Play 3.
mmx1, thanks for the correction and the re-wording. I am more interested in basics, I am not good in explaining my thoughts sometimes, but what you did exemplify the spirit of a forum. Basics is posing questions, assuming an ideal within the context a selected game. Saying a digit repeat x% the next draw is purely observational, every digit has the same chance on every draw. I like and love statistics, not just crunching percentiles , but the IDEAL BEHIND--what is meaning of 80% of a parameter,

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Have to agree with you. The Scratchers 2nd Chance end of game jackpot is a life changing amount, at least the biggest ones (I'm thinking $750K or bigger). Losing the chance (albeit a small chance) of wining that pot of gold at end of the rainbow is a bit of a downer. Even winning 2 100K jackpots is not the same. I enter every ticket. Along with the end of game jackpot -- admittedly a $50 winner ain't going to be that life changer jackpot -- one gets an entry into a $20K drawing. Still not a l

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
Realistically what kinds of odds can one expect in a game where a dollar or two will buy you a chance to win up to a half billion dollars? Lottery players don't even need much of a mathematical background to find the game odds on a state lottery website or or on the back of a play slip to understand winning a jackpot is very difficult at best. The next question should be knowing that why do so many people try to win and the answers is obvious; there is 1 behind the eight or nine digit numbe

Hot Lotto Changes
snip Besides the changes others have mentioned in this post it's interesting to note that the overall odds of the game are barely changing despite the addition of the extra white balls. Maybe the overall odds are barely changing, but the JP odds are changing from 1:10,939,383 to 1:29,144,841 ... which means that it will be three times harder to win the JP ... that's kinda a big deal !!! I'll give the new matrix a try. Depending on how well I do with the smaller prizes, I may have to find
