Ohio Lottery opposes state audit
except that the Fed should be abolished, not just audited.
The boss at the lottery doesn't want her books to be audited, how shocking.
She says it's a waste of money. When has any government agency ever worried about wasting money? All the more reason to audit them. They have a state auditor for one reason - to audit. Let them do their job lady and stay out of the way. If you haven't been cooking the books you've got nothing to worry about, right?

Kentucky Lottery reports record revenues, lower profits
The Kentucky Lottery brought in record revenues despite a souring economy, an audit released Wednesday showed.
The audit of the Kentucky Lottery showed that the lottery brought in $778.2 million up about 4.6 percent from the previous year but its profits were down about 2.7 percent.

Yukon lotteries go under microscope
Lottery operations in the Yukon are currently under review, in the wake of similar probes in other Canadian provinces, but Yukon lottery officials foresee no problems.

Legislators grill Ark. lottery financial officer
The Arkansas lottery's chief financial officer said Wednesday that a $90,000 tax penalty probably resulted because of a data input error, though legislators remained puzzled over how the lottery's director wasn't told of the problem for more than three months.
