New States on the PB/MM Block
Mississippi and Alabama already have a form of gambling instituted in their states. The voters have turned the Lottery down so far. I think Mississippi would be a MM state because Mississippians go to Louisiana to play PB. Alabama might be a PB since MM is in neighboring Georgia. In Mississippi: Mississippi Riverboat gambling in Vicksburg and NatchezGulf Coast CasinoesIndian Reservation in Neshoba County In Alabama: A greyhound dog racing track in MobileEutaw has a dog or horse tr

I bring sad news to LP tonight.
My condolences Miss you guys Maddog,Four4me,CoinToss,Jap,Bob,Red,Todd,etc. My Uncle Willie passed away on the second of February i will miss him he played a huge part in getting me into the fun of gambling going to the dog/horse track when i was younger which later blossomed into my love of lottery as well. The Mississippi state line is about 30 minutes from me thinking about playing some Cash 4 numbers on their new pick 4 game. I missed out out on the quads recently

I think all of us agree 100%. I'm not against pre-draws, but if NCEL was 100% legit they would post the results daily as well. The only explanation that can be derived by withholding the information is that they are reducing their payout costs and eliminating the ability to track reliable and valid data. Heeel, horse tracks, Vegas and most forms of gambling list up to date odds and money wagered. Why can't all states provide up to date data right up to the draw?? They feel they would be paying o

Hoosier Lottery
Uh 40-50% is one hell of a range, I dont care if you are talking one dollar or 40 million dollars. The Hoosier Lottery along with all lotteries are major rip offs. Taxation on taxation. I play these games because I can afford to throw away money but I feel so sorry for the people who play the lotto with meager means ( who the lottery markets towards) who are uneducated. They see $42 million dollars and they dont realize it is $18 million lump sum and then $ 10 million net. I would say that is a

Texas All or Nothing
Ooops rcbbuckeye I thought you were living in Houston. Do you live near the race track up in Justin? The Formula 1 race is in way SE Austin this week--glad I live north of Austin. The Longhorns don't play here until Thursday or it would be one big traffic jam. I'm going to the horse track in San Antonio again tomorrow. If anybody has any hot tips send them my way.

exactly. there is a fine balance between lottery and other games of bypassing hard work and getting funds faster (main reason why most of us do what we do :) the fine line is how easy is to play a particular game, ie. casino requires time (car, to get there, deal with sales people on the floor etc:) the odds in the lottery are already astronomical for all lotteries (governments, States made sure of that!) adding 7-number lottery or 2$ a ticket is not necessary in my opinion, States are rac
