I've always wonder...
When it's 9:45 PM in the Central Time Zone, it's 10:45 in the Eastern Time Zone and 7:45 PM in California. The drawing is held live in Atlanta, Georgia at 11:00 PM Eastern time so that means it's 10:00 PM in the Central, 9:00 PM in the Mountain, and at 8:00 PM in the Pacific Time Zone. If California allowed wagers on MM until 10:45 PM local time, people would have 2 hours and 45 minutes to play the winning numbers that had already been drawn. Bet some players would still play their favorite n

Official Rules of the Games - PB/MM
What's strange is, I'm in the same time zone as where they draw the PB, they draw it at 9:59pm, but every place I have been to buy a ticket cuts it off at 8-8:15pm. One guy said once 'They went all the way to 8:30 once'. Yes, they obviously lock the computer down X minutes before the drawing, it just seems that X time is different, as far as how much time before the drawing they do it. Some say 15 minutes, my experience is 1.5-2 hours.

If you click on it, it will tell you all about the halloween raffle being held in 7 different states. It says the drawing will be held at 2 PM, but it doesnt say in which time zone the drawing will be held. So is that 2 PM Central time, wh
