Winner of $95 million Lotto Texas lottery jackpot gamed the odds to win
I am intrigued about these lottery courier services. Who uses them? The only other time I have heard of them was when an Iraqi citizen used one and won an Oregon lottery. Based on this article, could someone use one of this services if they wanted to purchase tickets in a state where one is allowed to be anonymous? Are these services for state lotteries only or for Powerball and MegaMillions too?

Michigan man wins $200K Powerball prize after playing his kids' birthdays numbers
I'm guessing 34 was the one number he missed. As the article states, he matched 4 of the first 5 numbers plus the Powerball.

Florida LLC revealed to have claimed $1.6 billion Mega Millions lottery jackpot
The Saltines LLC/Saltines Holdings LLC rats nest is probably there to obscure the FL doctor winner. Maybe, maybe not. I hadn't looked before, but the official announcement by the FL Lottery says the prize was claimed by Saltines Holdings LLC. This article says they're based in Miami but according to Florida's official corporate registry there's not a Saltines Holdings (LLC or any other corporate structure) anywhere in Florida. The listing you linked to is for Saltines LLC , which lists a Mi

$1.3 billion Powerball winner revealed by Oregon Lottery as three people splitting jackpot
I read in another article that they are splitting it equally 3 ways. So the fact that Chao is getting only 1/3 of the jackpot strongly indicates that she paid 1/3 of the total cost of their shared tickets. Plausibly, what happened is the husband (and wife) bought $200 worth of tickets, then later called up Chao to ask if she wanted to pitch in $100 more to buy more tickets on top of what he already purchased. That would make $300.

California winner of $1.765 billion Powerball jackpot is lauded as kind family man by neighbors
Weird that the article says Struyck is the representative of a group that won $1.765 billion and the other members of the group have not been named but it sure looks like this discussion is assuming Struyck is the sole ticket owner. Can't recall in the past where the neighbors' of another spokesman of a group of jackpot winners were interviewed

DC man sues the lottery after incorrect numbers posted on website would have won him $340 million
Two things I had hoped for: 1) That Todd Kate would run this article and #2) That Artist 77 would comment since it is in your backyard. This was on YouTube and I commented on it. You talk about some hateful comments directed @ me. One even said I wasn't educated. Blasted that one out and said eff your attitude that my SO worked in Criminal Justice for 40 years and my measly eight months as a Grand Juror and know what I'm talking about.

Florida LLC revealed to have claimed $1.6 billion Mega Millions lottery jackpot
Hi everyone! A little late to the conversation here, but I wanted to clarify the wording based in Miami in the article. The jackpot winner records initially released to the public by the Florida Lottery had Miami, Florida as the city associated with the claimant, Saltines Holdings, LLC, but it did not clarify whether that meant the LLC was incorporated in Miami. We have seen other outlets piece together some information and say that the LLC was incorporated in Delaware, as well as the possibilit
