what is the very first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
other because I would keep my house but always wanted to have a little hiding place (with around 20-30 acres) somewhere in the Hill Country in Texas.
BTW, I wouldn't pay off my mortgage, I would set up an account at the bank to take the monthly payment from. Why? To claim the interest on my tax return.
Years ago I wanted to have a private island in the Bahamas, but now I would rather stay within driving distance of the kids and grandkids.
