Well in my world I call this a big time alert on number 28. The last couple times I started talking about numbers being out in the upper 50s right into the low 60s. They all hit within a matter of days so we got a lot of other numbers, tagging along with some larger due dates, so I'm definitely gonna mix them all in on a game or two with some Hot numbers and a repeat and let's hope for the best

FF5 is still a good game to play.... but players will no longer be able to win those whopping big jackpots. The odds aren't changing a bit. They're still 376,992 to 1. That's excellent odds in terms of lottery odds. But players can kiss those $200,000 FF5 jackpots goodbye. G5

The reason why FF5 jackpots were so good and lower tier prizes were so bad is due to the percentages allocated to prizes of the winners prize pool. FF5's official rules show 62% of the winner's prize pool is used to fund the jackpot. The second place prize is 10% of the winners pool and the third place prize prize is 28% of the winners pool. Not that anybody cares, but I thought I'd share my thoughts on playing PowerBall. I don't play the game very often because the odds are ridiculous. Not that it's any big deal because it's a common occurrence across Pick5 games all over the country but last night's set of five winning numbers (1,5,15,30 34) was drawn for the second time in FF5 history. What we are really talking about here is Player behavior. IMHO players love FF5 for it's BIG JACKPOTs and LOW ODDS! It's as simple as that. Of course nobody will become a millionaire playing FF5, but a $200,000 jackpot win is a nice chunk of change. Players vote with their dollars. When something good disappears, so do the players. Years ago in New York, they had a online lottery game called Sweet Million. It had low odds to win one million dollars and it was not parimutuel. That big word (parimutuel) means if there was more than one winner of a million, each winner got a million . It sure stinks that JPT keeps rolling down. They hit the 2 million dollar cap on the jackpot on June 3rd and nobody has won the jackpot since. Apparently 2 million dollars isn't a big enough prize to attract player interest in the game. I guarantee you that if I won the 2 million, I wouldn't call it chicken feed and I'd be darn glad to have won it. In March of 2023 The Florida Lottery implemented two Florida Fantasy5 drawings per day and absolutely ruined the game! Prior to March of 2023 jackpots got as high as $235,000, especially after The Snowbirds arrived in Florida for the winter. Now total jackpots for both drawings has shrunk to about $180,000. Thanks Casper! There's something else that I should have included in my initial post about how you score as many cash wins as you do. And that's that you're a big fan of playing repeaters too. (As am I) At least one winning number has happened in 40.2% of all Take5 drawings since the game began back in 1991.
