Post your scratch ticket results
Yep - but make sure you call the commission and see if it's against the rules there. I'd be demanding the money from that clerk. Like for real - I'd bug out. There's good business and there's bad, and I'd be snip ed sure to let everyone know of bad business. Hell, I no longer go to a Subway in town because the guy working that BSed me around for 5 minutes about a coupon as a joke. (Some Fresh of the Boat Indians are so ridiculous - and don't understand the business ethics of this country

Small Winnings Tax Question
Just want to clarify - in my last post I didn't mean that cashing several $500 tickets is dishonest, only sneaking around to hide it from the IRS. It's probably not even necessary. I wouldn't want to call raise any red flags, although the Lottery usually doesn't give tax advice. You're right about the 50 individual tickets as far as I know. I think the OP is mostly an ethics question. I've seen people cash tickets totalling more than $1,000 at the counter when they have multiple wins. By

Florida's newest lottery millionaire
Apparently, I tend to think the same way. Though I quickly cease those thoughts! I've noticed, through the years, that several quick-type mart employees have won big either first or second place lottery earnings. I presume this is because they are around lottery winning mindsets from lottery ticket buyers for 8-hours a day -- and a lot of this seeps into their nonconsciousness, causing themself to win. With these frequent lottery winning thoughts floating winning energy around their nonconscious

NYS lotto Scratch off's (DIRTY SECRET) information that is not revealed to the public-SCAM OR NOT?
Sounds like you might have another class action law suit. In your case they are destroying unsold tickets regardless of the fact that there are prizes left in those unused books. If thats there policy then what could be done to change that practice. If it's in their charter or bylaws to do so what can be done to stop that. Who knows! you might need to contact the comptrollers office or the state board of ethics if you have one...........or the lieutenant Governor. Tell them what the lotter

Should one play if they have others feeding them
Opinions are like dingleberries. Everyone's got'em. Ethics, Morality, conscience, is a vast gray area for interpretation. I'm not a vegetarian, but after watching some of the processes of slaughters of cows and other animals in the houses, made me wonder.

Former Indiana Lottery Director cleared of ethics charges
When one is cleared of murder charges, it means you didn't do any murdering... When one is cleared of burglery charges, it means you didn't do any burglerizing... When one is cleared of ethics charges, it means ...

Online gambling executive arrested on state charges
What I find as an interesting thought is, if all the off-shore gambling sites were to suddenly arrange to collect and submit tax revenue from the winnings of their players, the Execs would get the red carpet treatment here in the US. Oh and in regards to the former Iran President, who of all people was here to speak about Ethics . The local and state police told him he was on his own and absolutely NO security would be provided to him. At least the Police there had the guts to make a stand.

Newspaper to decline advertising from N.C. Lottery Commission
This is why I like independently owned papers - they can have a curmudgeon owner like him who sticks to his or her guns. No corporate blandness in that paper. I buy lottery tickets, I want to be super mega filthy rich like everyone else, but at the same time I have mixed feelings about the ethics of states who are supposed to be protecting all its citizens yet knowingly take in a higher percentage of lottery dollars per annual income from the poor and desperate. One can honestly have the vi

Michigan Post 3/6-3/12
If it's what you posted on the thread it still doesn't prove you won. My point is people and their demands on others and they feel they are above following the same rules. When I opened my big mouth in the chatroom, I was making a point to Tenaj. I am aware she or someone in there would tell you what was said and I really don't care. But, you started this proof issue, I thought I'd look to the leader to stand by her own ethics. Tenaj can probably tell you what books to read on leadership. S

Having a lottery machine: Now that's the ticket
Yes its actually a practice I've been witness to here in PA- (re: scanning tickets prior to purchase). Recently asked a clerk why in a group of the ten tickets I bought most of them were very out of numeric order and just laying in the counter bin. Her response- well for some of the clerks its harder to pull off the roll so we just tear them off in advance . Mind you on average I hit at least one winner in a series of ten- This time I bought ten, and they were each losers. Later on that night I
