Video of Behind the Scenes Lottery Drawing / Dowsing for Numbers
There is a Video on the Official South Carolina Education Lottery Website, under the heading GAMES , entitled BEHIND THE DRAW VIDEO , that shows the behind the scenes events of how preparation for the draw is conducted. I viewed another video detailing the same procedure [I thought it was also on the SC Lottery website. I think SC may have changed their video. ]. In any case, I thought I remember viewing somewhere in some state, that sometimes the MIDDAY and EVENING Pick 3/4 drawings are BOTH

We Are The Numeralogic Masters..
If an event exists that would give rise to a paradox, or to any change to the past whatsoever, then the probability of that event is zero. In short, it says that it is impossible to create time paradoxes.

Which odds are better?
It is my contention that even though the machine is random at picking balls, the event is not completely random because the balls are numbered. I know that should not matter but the fact remains, part of the event is a numbered and ordered set of balls. Even a slot machine which has a RNG chip tends to run hot and cold. How is that possible?

Determination versus Free Will
But in a quantum world, the quantum event is a will independent event. Sometimes universes just happen , now and then (whatever now and then means) they pop into existence and sometimes they don't. And therefore and thereby, in a quantum world the answer is both no and yes (no? )

Help Please: Similarities between Lottery & Insurance: my last post for 2008
One similarity is that you should always expect to pay more than you collect, and make your purchase decisions accordingly. Spending an extra $100 per year to reduce a collision deductible by $500 is a bad idea unless you absolutely can't afford to pay the extra $500 at once in the unlikely event that you have an accident. Spending money on the lottery is a bad idea if you can't afford to pay the extra $500 in the unlikely event that you have an accident.

Same numbers, Same State, Same Day?
No, it's just the way the numbers come up. One states or provinces games have nothing to do with the other. They are all separate lottery jurisdictions. It's neat when it happens, but each lottery draw is just an event...and sometime as history repeats itself, it's just an odd event.

What is up with MM/PB
If you think of the jackpot size as a random event, just as who wins what is a random event, then you would expect the jackpot sizes to be randomly distributed and follow a bell curve distribution, just like any random distribution. Therefore, I would expect very large jackpots to represent only 2% of the jackpots, with most most of the jackpots falling around whatever the average turns out to be.
