If you win the jackpot on the lotto and were to give
Yea, it may not be illegal but if they came across the average person with that kind of cash in their home they would be pretty suspicious. I'm sure their first thought would be that you have it from illegal activities and then they may investigate. If you want to keep large sums of money at your house and you withdrew it from your bank, I would hang on to the bank receipt just incase. It would really help out in explaining why you have $50,000 in cash at your house.

Should illegal immigrants be able to claim lottery prizes?
He'll give 10 percent to a guy who cashes his tickets, not because my friend is illegal, but is eluding taxes. Sounds like you don't have a problem with illegal activities if they are done by a friend.

State lottery discovered corrupt!
I checked Can't beat him join him! at first, but I know I'd really turn it over to a local news station. Of course, you've got to be careful since you don't want to turn on your set the next week and hear local reporter wins $50 million by guessing 6 numbers! As much as I know in my heart that using information from illegal activities is fraud would be unethical, immoral and illegal, it certainly would be nice to win just one small jackpot before turning in the evidence.

Winning $10K+
You are correct. Also, Lottery Post does not allow discussion on online gambling on the forums. Any such posts are deleted, and repeat offenders are suspended. Lottery Post is a place for discussion of legitimate official government-run lottery games. We cannot and will not be a place for discussion of illegal activities. That is a risk you can take yourself, but don't come here to talk about it.

Why Not Converge PB and MM Into a Super Lotto For All States??
Where is it written that the states have a guaranteed monopoly on these games? Some where in most state laws because anyone starting their own game is usually arrested, taken to jail and the courts sentence them to some prison time for illegal activities..

Lottery Taxation
why should they pay any less than a well-paid middle management executive who makes $ 200,000 and pays nearly a third of his income in taxes? Why, indeed. If there's a tax on 'earnings', how can winning a lottery be considered as somehow different than, say, selling a lot of some illicit recreational drug, which is taxable if they catch a person at it. Or getting paid some astronomical amount for prancing around a stage shouting into a microphone and waving an electric guitar? Or throwing and

Should illegal immigrants be able to claim lottery prizes?
I don't think they are separate issues. They're participating in an activity reserved for folks who have the proper documentation. The two are inextricably linked. That's like saying it's OK for them to have a driver's license, as long as they pay for the fees. They're too smart to cash in a ticket, so they'll find a legal friend to do it for them. Had they not played, a legal person may have won instead. What worries me, is since they are doing something illegal like staying in this count

More offshore gambling arrests
If gambling was a crime, there would be no horse and dog races, no casinos, no states' and country lotteries. Gambling itself is not a crime, prostitution and illegal drug use are. I mean here on the U.S.A. in some countries, prostitution and drug use might be or is legal, at least prostitution is. As it was said: If there is no victim there is no crime , after all, alcohol is a drug, but it is a legal drug here on the USA, it might not be on one or more countries, different people(s)

Mailing lottery tickets ?
Title 18 of the U. S. Postal Code was adopted in 1956 as a measure against organized crime and certain money-laundering schemes they used to legitimize the money they earned in illegal activities. With the conviction of Al Capone in 1931, the IRS began taking a very active part in lobbying for this type of federal legislation. Following the repeal of the Prohibition Act in 1933, illegal gambling quickly emerged as the Mob's primary source of income. Lottery tickets are included in Title 18 b

$1.4 BILLION: Powerball jackpot juggernaut keeps rolling
In addition to my history with JP Morgan not being a pleasant one, I know they just settled the trafficking charges against Jeffrey Epstein, thus whoever folks seek to work with it is good to check them out as there are others who may be a better fit. You should also look into the background on financial planners as well... (my former planner had major strikes against them for illegal activities, nothing that harmed me but I don't do anything with them anymore). Always good to do
