While anyone has a right to file a legal action, he does not ever seem to follow through and participate in the process. You have to give notice to the person you are suing so his libel case was dismissed. With the builders case, he refused to turn over alleged documents and witness lists which are part of the pretrial discovery process. So case dismissed. This is all too bizarre and ridiculous. The DC lottery contractor was sloppy but that is not gross negligence.

The police and state lottery are now familiar with this idiot store owner (prior notice) and if it happens again, it makes it much easier for someone to take legal action. Well the amount you spent on the lottery was not relevant. If the money you were spending was suspected to come from non legal sources and not income from a job, investments, etc., there was likely probable cause as to why you were under surveillance and arrested. If there was not, contact your state lottery and an attorney. It had nothing to do with how much one spends on the lottery.
