Florida man arrested after buying $31,000 worth of lottery tickets using company credit card
Same here . In my state(Louisiana), it is not legal to buy lottery tickets with a credit card. Is it legal in Florida? Did he win any big prizes or was he sending in large numbers of tickets for second chance drawings? I don't feel bad for him since he stole from his employer and used a credit card which could be easily traced. He'll be locked away for a while.

DC man sues the lottery after incorrect numbers posted on website would have won him $340 million
While anyone has a right to file a legal action, he does not ever seem to follow through and participate in the process. You have to give notice to the person you are suing so his libel case was dismissed. With the builders case, he refused to turn over alleged documents and witness lists which are part of the pretrial discovery process. So case dismissed. This is all too bizarre and ridiculous. The DC lottery contractor was sloppy but that is not gross negligence.

UK couple battle over £1 million lottery prize
Agreed and he apparently lies so much, who knows what was actually said. At least she got rid of the dead weight. I doubt he can afford to launch further legal action.

New Michigan lottery player wins $500,000 on his first-ever ticket
I have heard about beginners luck. This kid waits until he is 21 so he can officially now do adult things that are legal for adults. I'm 21 now he says and so I can now purchase a lottery ticket. What a country. Most kids would go to a package store or a bar when they turned 21. Not him. I am going to buy a lottery ticket and take it home and mommy and daddy can show me how to scratch it. Even though he had seen them do it multiple times. There is just something off about this. Most do not even

His legal background will benefit him. I am sure he is glad to be out of NY. He will do well. He looks very earnest. And let's not trash southern states with stereotypes. You may be begging to live in a southern state in the near future.

Michigan woman who won $25,000 a year for life Lucky for Life lottery prize thought she was hacked
Though the top two tier prizes are the dreaded Pari-mutuel don't think that has ever happened best of my knowledge. Going to TRY to not play the big boys unless they reach $40 million and play this instead; odds are much better. It is nice that like KY, MI you can play on-line. That legal mumbo jumbo mailed to California lottery about that and getting Double play on Powerball should get there Monday. Like Todd said their law prevents Double play. Now going to look up Mega Millions
