Happy New Years Eve! Well last night saw #16 take the lead with 61 hits ... Will #12 hit tonight? Time will tell. In addition, #16 has now hit 10 times in December. That's a huge number of hits for any number to have in one calendar month. That's happened in just three other months in 2022. I keep posting about what happened in New York with Take5 like there is some kind of direct correlation between Take5 and FF5, but there really isnt one. Take5 is a 5/39 game with 575,757 to 1 odds to win lousy jackpots. FF5 is a 5/36 game with great odds (376,992 to 1) to win a darn good jackpot. What we are really talking about here is Player behavior. IMHO players love FF5 for it's BIG JACKPOTs and LOW ODDS! It's as simple as that. Of course nobody will become a millionaire playing FF5, but a $200,000 jackpot win is a nice chunk of change. Players vote with their dollars. When something good disappears, so do the players. The word on the street around where I live is Cash Pop is a joke... I've never played it but it seems most players I've talked to are unimpressed. That does not mean you shouldn't play it. Years ago in New York, they had a online lottery game called Sweet Million. It had low odds to win one million dollars and it was not parimutuel. That big word (parimutuel) means if there was more than one winner of a million, each winner got a million . I like to do all the kooky kinds of things that I've seen other lottery players do, but I keep it within reason. The reason I like to do 'em is because kooky kinds of things actually do happen with the lottery, and they happen more often than people think. Lottery flukes end up in the newspapers quite a bit. Only just this morning did I realize something that I should have known since the day I found out that FF5 was going to two draws per day. Talk about DUMB! Of course, The Florida added the midday draw simply to increase falling FF5 revenue. If I had complained directly to them about it, I'm sure they'd have said There won't be any FF5 at all if we don't do it.
