This is exactly correct. Just redact the bar code or take a picture before you scratch off the bar code and you are ok. This problem is not limited to lotto tickets. People have posted sporting or concert tickets online with exposed bar codes and been ripped off. Just be careful if you post online.

I think the beauty of online purchases is that the probability of loosing a winning ticket is reduced if not entirely eliminated. Here in FL the type of scratch off game info is indeed currently available online. I do use excel to run scenarios on new games that haven't started yet (so no info online yet), as well as once in a while compare variables between games.

I wish I had known about that sync before hand. I had 445. I could have loaded up more money on it. I keep playing the same numbers online but I forgot to change it to day play(since I played the night before). That's the 2nd time that has happened to me. It cost me $750. I hate their online portal.
