Depends on how the game's drawing defines random and of course the number of possible outcomes. Not much help finding patterns with a million possible outcomes. Probably can tell us what to expect over time but not much help in short periods of time and with large numbers of combos within a pattern. It's an old idea so I can't take credit. It goes back to the 60s with the Strat-a-matic baseball game where the players had stats cards. Later there was Earl Weaver (computer based) where players chose a team and the game was computer controlled.
