Lottery superstitions, do you have any?
Lottery rules is what I have. 1.You can only buy lottery the day before or the day of the drawing. 2.You can only use black ink to print out your numbers on a playslip. 3.If you are going to get QP's still print out the playslip in case the lottery retailer is an idiot that can't operate a terminal. 4.If you buy lottery you must also purchase something else in the store or your ticket will be deemed unlucky. 5.Only use black ink pens that are lucky to fill out playslips. 6.You must protec

North Carolina: 5/1 - 5/31/2019
Question for all NCEL players... NCEL obviously has the ability to print an entire playslip on a single ticket (see Mega, Powerball, Cash 5, Lucky for Life). Yet all P4 and P3 tickets are printed 1 number at a time. I know that Ohio defaults to this behavior (1 playslip per printout for P3 and P4). I was talking with the rep this morning at the store and she said it was a conscious decision to do it 1 number per ticket. My thinking is basically from a speed/convenience standpoint. If

Print Play Slip
Technically, there would probably be copyright infringement issues with duplicating the full layout of a state's playslip. One way around that would be to just print the markings in the right places without all the text and boxes (you would have a playslip with only a bunch of marks on it). The markings necessary to successfully have a machine accept it would include number choices, options choices, and any alignment markings that would be needed.

It would be fun if an uberball lottery was created.
I'm not sure what a playslip with 5 boards cost but I'm sure it's more than 1 . Retailers now get 5% or 5 to print and check a line on a ticket so that 25 per $5 ticket. How many retailers do you think would continue selling lottery tickets if all they made was 5 for printing and checking 100 lines after getting $5 for that work now? The only place you can play for free and get your numbers checked is the LP prediction board, and we all know what you win when you match all the winning numbers

P3 Playslip Question
Jap69, that makes a lot more sense from a design standpoint. Here, the tickets, when they print out from the terminal, are limited to five plays, no more. Which is really kind odd again, since on the jackpot games like the local 6/49 game, you have a playslip which allows a maximum of ten lines on one ticket. Therefore, there is code in their system already to allow more than five plays on a ticket. And the 6/49 game is fifty cents per line (in required multiples of two) just as is Pick 3.

New machines for the new Mega Millions?
It must be a NJ thing. Here in Washington state I can pick the Mega ball myself and have the computerpick the rest or I can pick 1,2,3,4,5, white balls and have the computer pick theMega ball or any number of combinations. The machine will come up with an error because it knows that you have not picked all 6 numbers. When the clerk tells you that there is an error just tell him to hit the quick pick button and it should print a ticket made up of your numbers and the computers numbers. As far as a s

Powerball game.ChasPA kind of h

What pisses you off the most...?
Cashiers that mess your lottery tickets you wrote as an option... . A word inserted after mess will make a few agreeable options.. : with - I hate the cashiers who forget to clear the machine, print my tickets then can't come to a total due even after being told w/o laying them on the counter to count them. : up - I don't like a newbie cashier who isn't aware of what the games are and has to repeat 5 times what exactly it is you want all the while cautiously pressing

$180 Mistake! What would you have done?
Wow, hard to believe she'd print $180 worth of tickets without double checking that's what you wanted. I've gotten games that I didn't want before, but only a $1 ticket so I just shut up and took it, and went somewhere else and bought the game I wanted. Sad when you have to fill out a play slip to get simple QP's. But that's probably what I'd do in the future if I were you. You only need to fill out 1, and tell them to run it X times to get the number of plays you want. If she wants to use th
