Do some number combinations have better odds?
I have an account with a legal horse racing book and all the bets must be made manually. If an online state lottery used a similar program, a player could make their bet after filling out each playslip so that would eliminate handing them to a clerk to print. If the lotteries allowed any amount of bets, they could use a program similar to the full wheels on LP. A player could deposit enough money to cover the bet, choose the wheel, enter the numbers, and submit the bet. The horse racing progr

Poll: All games, number selection
There's also a grocery store that posts a sign at the service counter telling Pick 3 players to fill out a playslip if playing more than three numbers. In NY they have started to install vending machines for scratchers, AND ALL Lottery games. Many stores now make you use them and will NOT sell any over the counter. The machines suck. The tickets print out just below your knee, and there is no 'catch' for the tickets so if you don't grab them as they come out they just fall on the floor. The

Lottery winner loses ticket, awarded unspent portion from couple who found it
After reading this story I was motivated to once again read the back of my playslip and ticket. On the back of my playslip under HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE: The first thing the TX Lottery Commission wrote was, Sign ticket before claiming. Unsigned tickets could be claimed by whoever possesses the ticket. I continued to read the back of the playslip and under the section RULES: The first thing the TX Lottery Commission wrote was, The ticket, not the playslip, is the only valid proof of your numb

Lottery ticket has all the numbers, but 7 seconds late
I punched twice, before 9 p.m., Mr. Iranpur recalled yesterday in an interview. The first ticket came out. I said, 'It's still 8:59, it's still 8:59!' The second ticket, however, didn't come out until seven seconds after 9 p.m., making it eligible for the next draw. It appears to me the terminal machine should be programmed for the ticket time to be when the data or playslip is entered. Not when the ticket is printed. Enter data at 8:59 and 55 seconds the machine should print ticket t

Don't Want to Fill Out Bet Slips by hand!
A free lottery playslip/ticket printing software. Print your entries from csv or txt files onto the playslips. Handles most lottery games, even those with irregular patterns. It requires configuration and a very basic knowledge of coordinates (X and Y) but even if you do not have this it is explained in the help. All you need is a ruler and the ability to measure accurately. As the program is free, you are required to e-mail your configuration files for games you have successfully configured so

Lottery superstitions, do you have any?
7.Always were tennis shoes or flip flops to buy lottery. Okay, Weshar75, I just have to ask about this one!! 3. If you are going to get QP's still print out the playslip in case the lottery retailer is an idiot that can't operate a terminal. Good idea!!

Florida Lottery Fantasy Five going to twice a day--will you still play?
I picked up a small brochure at Publix yesterday that explained the new change to Fantasy5. From reading it, it's very possible that the new additional drawing will not negatively impact the jackpot amount for the evening drawing. On the new FF5 playslip players will be able to select the draw time. They can select MID for the midday drawing, EVE for the evening drawing or BOTH for both the evening and midday drawing. If no draw time is marked, the terminal will automatically print a tic

Florida Fantasy-5 Players
Your're lucky to have gone into a store where they even had the new playslips available. The Publix I went into yesterday didn't have any, but what they did have was a brochure that described the new change to FF5. Fortunately for players I may have gotten all worked up about the negative impact to FF5 jackpots over nothing. From reading the brochure, it's very possible that the new additional drawing will not hurt the jackpot amount for the evening drawing. What's important is that on the n
