World Games Inc (WGI) is officially an ILLEGAL PYRAMID SCHEME!
Now it's official: World Games Inc (WGI) has been successfully prosecuted, and is officially an illegal pyramid scheme.Anyone still clinging to the preposterous notion that WGI is a good company should have their head examined.Better yet, the Canadian prosecution of seven WGI promoters commences November 29, 2004 in Calgary, Alberta. Here's some documentary proof:In the matter of ACCC v Worldplay Services Pty Ltd and Greg Kennedy:Judgment in this matter was handed down by Justice Finn of the Fede

The text you refer to above come from an e-mail sent out from Sergeant Karen Suchar of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, as a personal scare campaign against WGI members and others. The truth is that there has not yet been even a trial in respect of this matter. The following article might be of interest, sent out by WGI Press Enq

The Australian government calls it a pyramid scheme . . . The ACCC allege that the internet gaming scheme at www.worldgamesinc.con is a pyramid selling or referral selling scheme, and that the services offered to the scheme by WPS constitute participation in a pyramid scheme or referral selling. The ACCC also alleges that Mr Kennedy is knowingly concerned in this conduct. Their claim to be connected to Plus Lotto and Planet Lotto is stated in a funny way that could mean they are little more then

New way to play the lotto

Did anyone actually fall for it?
I just suspended the membership of someone who posted info about one of those syndicate lottery sites run by the pyramid scheme, VWD (Virtual World Direct). Check this out: minutes before the person I got rid of posted that message on the forums, their previous Lottery Post account was automatically suspended by the Lottery Post server when they tried to post a link. That person previously used that account to respond to a warning thread that I had posted a few weeks ago about VWD. The

slampen,I can't believe you continue to support this scheme (WGI). What about the fact that they are lying about being registered in Norway? But wait, there's more. My great anonymous tipster sent me some more in-depth materials about them. This time from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commissions, including charges against CEO, Greg Kennedy and WGI's parent company, World Play Services for pyramid selling. His trial ended June 9, 2004 and the proceedings were adjourned for judgement.

I am a member of WGI from UK and happy to admit it. I found this site when I was looking up a WGI matter. Some interesting points here! Slampen seems to know his stuff, and I would back up most of his points. The reason the site is blocked in the US is that WG is not ready to launch in US yet - watch out when it does!It is not open to members in Australia (and a couple of other countries) because of the laws (ie gambling monopoly) there.I would just add that WGI has been passed as legitimate by th

Im creating a free lottery!
Sounds like the well known pyramid scheme which is illegal from start to the end. The concept is basically, each participant will pay once a membership and will be allowed to play for free and win small amounts if he introduces more people to that scheme (with diminished payouts every time). There is no way other than that for this idea to work. If what you say about COMPLETELY FREE play is true but those who play (but don't pay anything) can win money, the only way to do so is to have a machine
