Hey, Do you know if that is an IGT machine or Scientific Games lotto machine? We can't do that in KY, QP pop out of the machine and that's when you find out your #'s. Ours in KY are IGT, kind of look like a big rounded edge refrigerator. Been a while since we went to Ohio and think they have SG machines; not 100% sure.

Hi LS, when I read your initial post I originally thought the toss scenario was unlikely, esp as it's a crossword so with so many words hitting it would become very apparent to the player that they have a winning ticket. To my knowledge the best way to mitigate this is to use a true random seeding method for the PRNG, like from a hardware RNG that uses atmospheric noise, in the broadest sense. The language that a PRNG is implemented in and the device's operating system also affect the performance of a PRNG.
