How does California have an unfair advantage, just because it has more lottery vending machine in more places than any other state in the U.S? California is singlehandedly keeping the lottery in business. I guess all other lottery playing states, residents should go to our lottery officials and demand that we get more lottery vending machine in our states than California.

It does not surprise me that someone from California won it, considering it has more lottery vending machines in more places than anywhere else in the country. This means probably every mini mart, grocery store, Walmart, gas station and corner store has a lottery vending machine. In my state, my local Walmart just got its first lottery vending machine about a year ago.

Why would you think Tennessee would win again? The last time there was a Tennessee winner was in 2019. Tennessee has 8 total lottery jackpot wins. Where as California has 13. It depends on your state. You could email them and ask what to do in that situation. Tickets for draw games are time stamped pretty precisely, so I don't see how you'd get away with claiming one you didn't purchase. Scratchers are iffy because they're not timestamped, but they are serial numbered. What if you bought a bunch of scratchers at a vending machine and accidentally picked up another one someone else had left behind in the receptacle? Good questions. Personally, I don't pick up lott

Wow that's luck! $2mil is $2mil whether by accident or not. Congratulations to the winners. I don't know if the lottery vending machines here can replay existing tickets.
