Virginia woman who previously won $100,000 in lottery wins $1 million in a different game
Lightning strikes twice, better the second time around By Kate Northrop Lightning struck twice for one Virginia woman, who won $1 million on a lottery scratch-off within three years of winning a $100,000 prize in another game. Gayla Guishard did it again, except this year's $1 million win is even more impressive than the $100,000 lottery prize she scooped up in 2021. It was quite the scene at the Race Way gas station on Carrollton Boulevard in Carrollton, where Guishard had found

Virginia woman wins $50,000 Pick 5 prize on first-ever lottery ticket
the virginia lottery faq says they will take your photo when you win and may hold a press conference. i'm not a lawyer, brah, but i don't think they can force you to smile for a photo or look good while holding your check or make you say anything other than a grunt. during the press conference you could rip one, or pretend to have diarrhea. you seem like a guy who knows how to make himself unpleasant to be around so if you ever win the virginia lottery i think you will find a way to weasel out o

Virginia man who won $1,000 a week lottery prize in Cash4Life says it's just "good"
I am confusing this game with Lucky for Life. He won Cash 4 Life. Fixed payout game both of them. Avoid. The Virginia game he won the odds were 7.2 to 1 million whereas the Cash For Life game the odds for the same hit are 1.8 million to 1 but only half the prize. Makes the Virginia one lame.

Virginia man who won $1,000 a week lottery prize in Cash4Life says it's just "good"
It's okay By Kate Northrop A Virginia man didn't really have anything enthusiastic to say about winning a lottery prize of $1,000 a week for life in Cash4Life. A Virginia lottery player had a rather subdued reaction to beating tremendously difficult odds to win $1,000 a week for the rest of his life. Felipe Arriaza, of Alexandria, won the Cash4Life second prize of $1,000 a week, which is accomplished by beating the 1 in 7,282,016 odds of matching the first five numbers in a drawi

Virginia man bags $120,000 in Pick 4 with 8-8-8-8 combination
A six-figure prize in one drawing By Kate Northrop A Virginia man was lucky 24 times in one drawing, with his Pick 4 number combination pulling off a $120,000 win. It's common for the payout to be larger in Pick 4 drawings that yield number combinations with the same four numbers, but one Virginia man managed to rake in $120,000 all for himself. Dennis Fears won the top prize in the Virginia Lottery's Pick 4 night drawing on August 25 24 times. Every single ticket held the same f

$1 million Mega Millions prize won in Iowa will expire in two weeks
no buddy. You clearly said Virginia has Just the Jackpot for Mega Millions which they do not! vs. Virginia has a jackpot-only option, as well as the other prizes! Then after you are called out on it, then you go into an accurate description! and try and spin it into a misunderstanding

$1 million Mega Millions prize won in Iowa will expire in two weeks
No, you misunderstood my post. The Virginia lottery has an option called for Mega Millions called Just the Jackpot where a player can CHOOSE to just to play for the jackpot and NOTHING ELSE, which means THEY don't want any of the lower prizes. On the bottom of the play slip, there is an option that says (NEW) play for the jackpot only! Obviously you don't play Virginia lottery and have never seen their play slip before.

$1 million Mega Millions prize won in Iowa will expire in two weeks
Actually, the statement that Virginia has Just the Jackpot for Mega Millions is false. Virginia has 2nd to 8th place fixed prizes. All participating states have 2nd to 8th place prizes but in a couple of states it's not a fixed number it's whatever the winning total is, it's divided among the winners. For example, let's say in California the 2nd place prize is 2 million dollars if 10 people win in that state. they each get 200k

Virginia woman finds "pot of gold" in $150,000 lottery after paying for someone else's groceries
A prize quite literally at the end of a rainbow By Kate Northrop A Virginia woman found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in the form of a $150,000 lottery prize after she had just paid for another customer's groceries at the store. A Virginia lottery player struck it rich with a well-timed (and well-named) scratch-off ticket right after helping a fellow customer pay for their groceries. Briana Mills was standing in line waiting to pay for her items at the 7-Eleven on Walnu
