Information Theory and Lotto
Hi there GASMETERGUY, I have been following this thread for a while now, just lurking in the background, and I want to offer you some advice. I see that you are playing/analysing Georgia Fantasy 5 which is a (5/39) lottery game. If I were you I would start looking at the Georgia Win For Life lottery game. Georgia Win For Life is a (6/42 + 1 Bonus ball) lottery game. Now before anyone says anything I can see that the Georgia Win For Life game doesn't pay the winnings for 1

How do I prove my state lottery's CGNs are fixed?
OK in the hopes of aiding you in your win let me give you three bits of advice or suggestions. 1) I think that most advid lottery players are hypnotized. It started somewhere and hasn't ended yet, then one day they come to a conclusion that maybe they have been spending way to much time on one subject. I am in no way trying to stir people away from a nice forum as lottery post, but I do not think even Todd would wish that any one thing would consume ones life to a point of jeopardizing ot

Can math and logic improve chances of winning a jackpot?
Realistically what kinds of odds can one expect in a game where a dollar or two will buy you a chance to win up to a half billion dollars? Lottery players don't even need much of a mathematical background to find the game odds on a state lottery website or or on the back of a play slip to understand winning a jackpot is very difficult at best. The next question should be knowing that why do so many people try to win and the answers is obvious; there is 1 behind the eight or nine digit numbe

Mathematics and the Lottery
I think the bigger question is if someone won a major prize why on earth would they broadcast that information. Winning a major prize in most states means having the winner's full name and town put out there for public consumption. If a winner post their success here it would then not be hard for someone who trolls these forums to start harassing that winner in real life for the strategy that was used to win. When I win, I will not be broadcasting it.

I found a way that you can win Pick6 [win for life] by looking at PIck6 as 2 Pick3's based on the ending digits and then deducing but it make take 10 month to 1 year to win Pick6, what i am saying is the way i found it it will win Pick6 every 10 months to 1 year...If you want to win it sooner than that you will only get 3 numbers to 4 numbers....And again like usual you will need a semi supercomputer or state of the art program...But again it works like Sudoku , exactly like Sudoku game...And yo

And can you believe that we have gotten this close and the State lottery will not pay us at least 1 million to each of us, or make us win Win For Life Scratchoff...This is why i don't like them...

The Math and The Lottery
My lottery playing partner attempts to eliminate 8 to 10 numbers in the GA and FL Fantasy 5 games through analysis and most times he is successful and those numbers aren't drawn. While I agree that a good measure of luck is still required to win a jackpot, being able to eliminate numbers through analysis reduces the odds, and therefore the amount of luck needed. You only need to win a jackpot once to have your life change significantly. Even a small one between $100k and $500k will do.
