Would you check your numbers before you let a store clerk check for you
I don't want anyone taking my picture. The voucher system sound alright. When you start to take picture that when I think government step in and want there cut. What if you had $20,000 worth of tickets and you went to different store to get your money, and your picture shows up all the time trust me thay want there money.

old lottario ticket
Sorry Gary but after 12 months all unclaimed Lottario prizes are paid to the Provincial Government. That would really be a bummer if it's a winner. For your sake I hope it's a loser. That would be a lot easier to handle. It would be interesting to hear where your wallet was for 23 years.

N.Y. Lottery looks to increase prizes through investment strategies
This is the problem with NY State government. (sigh) They get side tracked with things like this, instead of the actual 'work' of the state, like a state budget. The state still has not passed a balanced budget this year and will RUN OUT OF MONEY in December and be going the way of California with IOU's soon. As much as I would like to 'win' more money, lets get the real work done first!

Internet Gambling Law will be voted on and passed in December
When regulating the same activity, federal law does override state law, however we aren't being given a right to do something by the federal government. What's happening here is a ban is being repealed. In this case, at the federal level, but states can still have their own laws. This repeal could still be a step towards lifting the state bans as well, which I hope it does, but as-is, it doesn't.

Poland proposes online gambling ban
It's the same everywhere it seems. You can always count on a government official to punish everybody for the indiscretions of a few. In this case the few were government officials and now everybody has to pay. There's always somebody waiting to throw a wet blanket on the party. And usually it's a politician. Now comes the requisite increase in taxes to offset falling revenues. They've got that wrong too. President Reagan proved in the 80's that lowering taxes increases revenue. Raising taxes ...

Lotto is prediction possible
All of the biggest break throughs down through history........have come from the individuals force of will ....as much as anything else. The ability to absorb all of the set backs and failures and still maintain focus has been key. P.S. To date ...I have been unable to secure any sort of Government research grant to further my lottery studies. LOL

Prize Bond Sales Soar
I read in the Irish media that, the sales of Prize Bonds are up 26 % this year -pushing the fund to just over 1bn. Irish Prize Bonds are a cross between a lottery and an investment. The Irish Government raises money by selling Prize Bonds, but instead of paying interest to bondholders, the interest earned is awarded to bondholders by lottery. I have some bonds and I have won a few small prizes, they are a bit of fun and who knows maybe I might win big prize or jackpot one day. I ...

Victim of stolen Texas lottery ticket says he knows how to get money back
The sad truth is that this man is gone and he will never be seen again. This man has destroyed the true winner's life now and is laughing. He is telling all his friends how stupid Americans are. I hope this effects some changes. Maybe the US government will have this guy brought back. In Russia, the people who steal from Americans are heros. Food for thought.
