A Muncie, Indiana, man is the latest lucky Hoosier to win big money from the Hoosier Lottery.
Ricky Wilber grew up in Muncie just blocks from the Village Pantry at 603 W. Jackson Street in Muncie where he won $5 million on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off.

Indiana Lottery chief resigns after lavish office revealed
Hoosier Lottery Director Kathryn Densborn stepped down Friday after coming under fire for moving the lottery to a posh new headquarters in Indianapolis.
Gov. Mitch Daniels said in a statement he accepted her resignation, which was effective Friday.
Densborn came under fire last week following reports of lavish spending on the move from Pan Am Plaza to a 35,000-square-foot office on Meridian Street.

The Hoosier Lottery said Friday that April 2011 will go down as a big month for Powerball players in Indiana who have won back-to-back jackpots totaling nearly $300 million.

Monday was a good news-bad news day for Mark Chambers.
The good news is his Indiana Pick Four lottery ticket is a winner, worth $2,260.

The Hoosier Lottery's promotional RV has gone up in flames.
Lottery officials say a state worker picked up the recreational vehicle known as Big Fun 1 from an Indianapolis repair shop Friday morning and drove it Hoosier Lottery headquarters.
As he was later driving it to a lottery distribution center, he smelled smoke. The worker pulled the RV over and fled to safety before it caught fire.

A 70-year-old retired chemist is suing a convenience store chain for more than $11.5 million, claiming its employees cheated him out of a large jackpot by refusing to sell him a lottery ticket.

Eric White didn't realize he'd left $2.5 million sitting on the desk in the office in his Indianapolis home for six months.
