Tried this over three years ago, since we have some new blood, so to speak, let's give it another shot. A haiku is a form of Japanese poetry that consists of three lines of five, seven and five syllables. Itcan get a lot more complicated than that, but to keep it simple, theonly requirement is three lines, seventeen syllables, five, seven, andfive. They don't have to rhyme or make sense, let's try some. Example: Lotto makes me think The numbers are in my mind but they never hit Hobbies are Addictive. Winning is Everlasting. Losing always Ends. D*** it I am mad. I played 1 0 4 today. They drew 1 0 3. The numbered balls go up and down and up and down inside the machine. I just won two bucks playing Mega Millions. Is this good or bad? People I don't know asked me for money after I won the jackpot. Pick 3 and Pick 4 Cash 5 and the Powerball. Those are our state's games. I am waiting for the day that 1 0 4 will win the lottery. In two thousand ten Powerball and Mega Mill- ions joined forces. Louisiana has only computer games. Grr, that makes me mad. 4 0 1 has not hit in Washington State since nineteen eighty-eight. D*** it I just missed winning by one number but it's a stupid game. Note: in all of my haikus, "0" sounds like "oh," not "zero." Unless I state otherwise, I am referring to numbers in straight order. I cannot predict lottery numbers, except that there will be no winning number tomorrow in Nevada. In a lot of states, lotteries benefit education. That makes the REAL winners the only people who can't play! | | |
