Yesterday, I got an email from the NY State lottery. It said my Lotto subscription had won a prize between 1 and 600 dollars. It said to logon on to my account on their website and see how much I won. I won a dollar.
But that's not why I'm posting.
After I got logged on, I was surprised to see that now in addition to Lotto and MegaMillions, they now offer subscriptions to Cash 4 Life.
I NEVER play C4L. Yes, I played it when it first began, but I quickly grew tired of it. Call me crazy, but I'm thinking I might buy a C4L subscription.
Here's why; Of all the numbers to choose from, I could care LESS about any of them. Except for one. The 42. I'm thinking I'll play the 42 and some other numbers. Because the 42 has yet to come out since the game began, if/when it comes out, and I match four other numbers with it, I'd win $1,000 a week for life.
Crazy, right? Well, maybe not so much. The odds to win the second place prize improve from 7.2 million to 1 to 1 in 18,542 IF/WHEN 42 is actually drawn. The reason that's true is because when the 42 eventually comes out, I'll need to match only four morenumbers drawn from a field of 59 to win the 2nd prize of $1,000 for life. If I played 10 different games with 42 in every game I played, then the odds can be divided by ten.
Hope the 42 doesn't come out until my subscription is in place. The race is on!!!! G5
I've been thinking about my post above.
10 Games???? Twenty bucks per draw twice a week??? For six months?? $1040 bucks??
I don't think so!
But I could play 4 games per draw. (Each game I'd have a different CashBall to cover all 4)
That'd be 16 bucks a week for 6 months which would cost me 416 bucks.. (Still a big bunch of money)
But if I had one number and the CashBall, I'd get two bucks back. Odds on that happening are 1 in 13. 2 numbers and the Cashball would get me 10 bucks back..1 in 83 odds on that.
While I don't think I would win back all of my 416 dollars, I might win back a some of it, which would make the cost of the subscription a little less pricey. Hmmmmmmmmmm!
Or I could just fill out one playslip with 4 games on it (with the 42 on each line with a partial QP for the other 4 numbers) and mark it for two drawings. Then use that same playslip every Monday for 26 weeks. That way I don't have to pony up 416 bucks up front. And if the 42 finally pops, I could stop playing, but with a subscription I cant. A subscription has to run it's full length of 26 weeks. And If I miss a drawing with my playslip, and the 42 doesn't come out, no biggie. I'm thinking I'll go that route rather than a subscription. And one more thing....
If I buy the subscription, even though it's a partial QP, I'm still stuck with the same set of numbers for the duration of the subscription. That's because I picked the 42 and they pick the other numbers that I don't pick at the start of the subscription, and the numbers won't change until the subscription runs out.
If I do the playslip, since it's a P-QP, with the exception of the 42, my numbers change every time I play. I don't wanna be locked in to the same set of numbers for 6 months. G5

THANKS G5' for Your reply. Watch my numbers come in I couldn't get tickets UGH.
You're welcome change!
There's something else I should have said about playing highs and lows...
Playing highs and lows is just like most other playing strategies, it's based on broad trends. When you really sit back and look at most (if not all playing strategy's) you'll notice that they all have something in common, and that's they're all based on high level or broad trends. I've written that here before. Broad trends are about the best anybody can identify, it's very hard to get down to a more specific number strategy.
Last nite the 36 finally came home. (So now is a good time to start playing it) It was out the longest, and once again, we see another broad trend - playing long skip's. G5

So I went down to Stewart's last night and bought my tickets.
Things didn't go too well. The young lady behind the counter said their machine "Has been acting funny lately" because it wouldn't read my playslip. Then she said "Oh I see. You don't have enough numbers filled in. You have to pick FIVE numbers, not just one."
So I explained to her what a partial QP was.
"Really? It'll DO that?"
"Yup" I said.
She tried the playslip again. Nope.
Then she says "I can just manually punch in any other numbers along with 42, so I'll do that. And by the way, if you play a fifth game, you can get a FREE Ticket!"
I politely declined the promo. "That's OK" I said. "Just give me four lines."
So she stood there and punched in some numbers manually, and the machine spit out four separate tickets. She got the 42 right on each ticket. But not the CashBall. She gave me two 1's and two 4's. I had marked the ticket with 1 2 3 & 4 for the Cashball, so I don't know how she screwed that up. I took the tickets anyway cuz a line had formed behind me, and I suspected those guys were getting all honked off for having to wait as long as they had.
"Let me know how you do with those numbers!" she yelled over at me as I'm leaving the store!
"OK" I yelled back as I opened the door and left. G5

I didn't play T5 yesterday, but I hit for 2 bucks on C4L...
The 42 has still not been drawn in any C4L drawing since the game began... I'm gonna play C4L again next week.
The info about the 42 being the only C4L number that has yet to be drawn appeared in the April 1st issue of Lotto Stats. That magazine is sold on news stands and at lottery retailers in New York City and also the larger cites in New York. That means it probably has a very large circulation. (many people read it)
That tells me that there are probably more than just a few people playing the 42 in each C4L drawing because they read that column in The April 1st issue of Lotto Stats. Given that, I would think that when the 42 finally is drawn, there's a very good chance that one or two lucky C4L players will win $1,000 a week for life in that drawing. Wont they be glad they read Lotto Stats???? G5

The tens number group edged out the thirty's with 41 hits in April. The thirty's had 40 hits.
I don't think the tens will be the place to be in May. With the exception of March, the tens have been the hottest number group in 2015. (Total of 163 hits thru the end of April vs. the other three groups with hits in the 140's) I just think the tens will take a break and slow down a bit in May.
The 6 and the 17 are the hottest numbers of the year. They're on track to have almost 60 hits in 2015. Right now, there are 7 numbers on track to hit 60 times. We'll see how that shakes out. Usually only 2 numbers come close to hitting 60 times in one calendar year.
Only one number has caught on fire in one month of 2105, and that was the 6 with 10 hits in February. If a number catches on fire in any given month (10 or 11 hits in the month) it usually had a double or even triple repeater during that month. So if you see a number have a double repeat, especially if it's early in the month, you could be looking at a number that's about to go ballistic. 12 hits in one month is rare. It hasn't happened since January of 2010 when the 7 had 12 hits. It's been a while, so maybe we'll see it happen this year. 12 hits in the same month has probably happened prior to 2010, but my spreadsheets don't go back past 2010 so I don't know if/when it might have happened.
Of course, the numbers don't know anything about "months", and a number could get super hot across two different months and I'd never know it! So take everything I say with a HUGE grain of salt. G5
