Why the pool size 0-9?

I was at the library this afternoon reading about Linear algorithms related to RNG's. Trying to generate random events and testing is a  a difficult proposition , but on hunch , I said to myself ' why not reduced the SPACE ' where all events occurred?

P3/p4 games has a space of 0-9, try to reduce it to ' 0-6'  and treat it as  3 / 6 game with whatever parameters you have.This is just an ideal.

Testing for trend: Lets take a glance at  NJ P3 data, check out all draws with digits 0-6

RED indicates draws with digits between 0-6(your pool size is reduced, so focus on that trend).

Now lets used the string for size 0-6 ( $0261435$) for a workout starting from date Dec 29 .

Format: Date> draw> string> Positional deleted digits

dec 29 > 717>0261435>1

           > 601>026435>0-6(deleted 0,6 positions differs from drawn digits 601)

Now as dec 29, your string is reduced to 2435 with positional x as 1-0-6, you can make a pair 24x>23x>25x>43>45x>35x(>selection priority,everything is sequential) with positional pairs 1>0>6 

with picks 241-240-246>231-230-236>251-250-256>431-430-436.......... or you reduced the string further via the next draw date, dec 30> 255>2435> 43> 25, now reduced string 43 goes with x=1-0-6-2-5.

Now the Pool 0-6 is trending for NJ, check above link for pool size 0-8. This is my workout, you may evolve in a different way.

Reduced picks : read into ' positional  deleted digits(x), sequence of all aspect of the string' ,you get this info, then your pick reduction becomes easy,you can then risk for straight bets .

It's a great idea but unfortunately the smaller the pool size, the less often a winning number will show from your small pool. It's just like wheeling, the more numbers in a wheel, the better, however, the catch is a 22. The cost goes up for a prize that pays half it's odds, and those odds don't change accordingly. 500 bucks payoff in a 1 in 1,000 possibilities world designed by lottery official shysters.

I thought about this many years ago, and dissected it a hundred or more times.

You have a nice net cast out there in the sea, but you may have to wait a long time, sometimes lying in wait for a combo that meets your strict criteria to show up, and BAM!!!. Lunch anyone?...
