I just upgraded to Platinum because of you

I just upgraded my membership to platinum for the next six months. I did this for a few reasons, the least important I figure I can use some of those great features that Todd has installed to provide my with more innormation in order to help me with my play selections. An most importantly, I love this site and want to support it and love all my fellow L.P. members. There's nothing better than coming home after a bad day (like today) and logging in at L.P. and chatting and posting and hanging out with friends. Heck, I don't no most of your real names and don't know if your green, red or purple, rich or poor, fat or bald but that dosen't matter to me because we share a common bond, an that's the lottery and consider you guys my friends. An that's all I need when I come here, let's leave all that other stuff at the door.  So thanks for reading my blog, looking at my awful picks (LOL) and for taking the time to post your thoughts and idea's. All you guys make my day a little brighter.  Now enough of this mushy stuff, anyone got any ideas for IL. this evening? ha. ha.  Good Luck to all.

Pick three, why are we wasting our money?

Pick three? why are we wasting our money? I can see spending a few bucks on a jackpot game, sure the odds really suck but if your lucky enough to hit the big one your life will change forever.  But pick three if you play enough to win a thousand, you'll probably play enough to give it all back. So is the answer to play a minimum amount just to stay in action and if were lucky enough to win, use the winnings to swing for the fences? It can't be play multiple combinations everyday and let your winnings grow, can it? I don't know the answer but I spend a lot of time thinking I can beat this game. Could you spend lots of money everyday and not afford to think that way? I respect the game that's for sure. If you don't, it will make you respect it. You'll burn out, be pissed and feel like your blowing all your money for nothing. Oh, it's so much fun to play the lottery. I like to play but I want to win. Which is why I love the Lottery Post, there are a great number of people here who feel the same way and they share their idea's and picks with the rest of us and are all in battle against the evil lottery. An together though we may never totally defeat this beast, we will all have victories along the way and may share in each others triumphs. Now go get your tickets and man your battle stations. Good Luck to us.

One st. & two bx. hits in IL. this week, but need idea's

Two box hits and one straight this week with my plays posted in my previous blog entry, which is nice but I only caught the st. for  $250. Anyone got an easy idea how I can zero in on one or two combo's to pound while I st/bx the rest of my numbers? I know I still may miss a big hit but if I had a solid reason as to why I decided to pound the one's  that I picked  I'd feel better about my decision if one of my other plays hit straight and only won $250. Not saying winning $250 is a bad thing but I'm playing twenty bucks plus per draw and you can give the money back fast and need larger wins to stay ahead of the game. Thanks in advance for the help.

IL. plays for the rest of January

Good Luck.

To save cash, only play the combinations that none or one of the digits appeared in the previous drawing. If two digits appeared in the last drawing do not play any of those combinations. An rinse and repeat. Oh yeah don't play um after they hit.

So far this month....

So far this month I haven't won much. I only spent about $14 bucks on pick four and have spend about $120 bucks on pick three. The pick three amount may seem like a lot of money spent without a win but I'm only playing a few combinations per drawing and I'm playing most of them two dollars straight or more. I'm looking for a big hit, no more $1.00 st/bx and settling for $40 bucks when I've spent three hundred for the month. I will adjust my play on a month by month basis.  I am playing with control and not going to throw a lot of money away without thinking about what I want to achieve. No more scratch tickets or Little lotto, they offer bad odds and low payouts. I also have a Lotto subscription for the year and already have hit four balls once, which paid about $31.00 bucks, so that's a good start. Well that's all for now. Good Luck. fast eddie

Tomorrow's a fresh start

Tomorrow's a fresh start for those of us who keep track of their wins and loses. Because unless you win a major jackpot the more years you play this game the more likely your going to wish you put all your yearly money away in a 401k instead of playing the lottery. Sure you going to have some winning years but as much as you don't want to face it there will be years where you come up short. In trying to normulate my bankroll strategy I've come to some conclusions, in the way of pick three straights the polls show that you may go a year without a straight or you could hit one or more a month. A straight is guaranteed to no one. So be extra happy every time you hit one beacuse there will be people who may spend as much or more than you and sill come up empty. Also I've learned that some people don't care about winning, sure they want to win money but as mentioned in a few posts I've come across to them that means wagering say eight hundred dollars for the month and hitting a five hundred dollar winner and saying the won. Sure they one but there not up, except for that day. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with this thinking and maybe it's a more true gamble lifestyle that I should embrance. It does take some pressure off in way. As for bankroll vs play, my big wins of last year carried me thru this so-so year. So unless you have a big enough win to carry you I think you'll find winning on a consistant basis year after year very tuff to do. That facor does change a little with on line play due to higher payouts and the abillty to wager on multiple states. This blog is getting way to long and your probably losing interest so I'll say so long till next year. Happy New Year and good luck in 2005. Your friend fast eddie.

Monday's forecast

I'm spending my time trying to for normulate a bankroll strategy for ''2005'' for Pick Three. I do have some Quick look plays posted for the following states, Missouri, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio and South Carolina. I make these picks by taking a quick look at the previous weeks combined results for that particular state. No Pick Four plays posted this week. I'm going to start back up after the first of the year. Hope everyone had a happy holiday. Let's close this year out with some big wins. Good luck this week.

Maybe study long is study wrong?

I don't know if this is going to work but I've posted some pick three picks for the next few days for GA., MI, SC., KY. I'm calling them my Quick look picks becasue I quickly looked at about a weeks worth of results and came up with these picks based on what I saw and what I didn't see. We've heard the saying ''study long study wrong''. Sometimes you can get so wrapped up in researching your picks that it gets frustrating and you feel like a dog chasing his tail. I am going see how pick three goes and maybe even try it with pick four. Also I'm going to try for ''2005'' to use my blog as an outlet to express various ideas of play from complex to down right silly. Happy holidays and good luck. Best wishes, fast eddie.

$1,060 in wins and still rolling

If you live in IL. or play on-line check out my pick three plays for IL. listed in the Pick Three forum. Strong combinations listed in weak order. 2 box hits and one straight so far, lets see if the magic will last a little while longer. Good Luck.

$480.00 won this week, sort of

Well I had $280.00 worth of wins going into yesterday and decided to go to the local casino and lost it all. (Rick G, yes I blew it) Well tonight I just hit one of my posted #'s 3726 bx. Evening in IL. for another $200.00. So instead of being up $480 I'm only up two hundo. Not a bad problem to have, I just thought since I've been feeling lucky lately I'd try my luck at the boat. Who knew my luck only had to do with the lottery. No more casino for a while. I'm going to send out some of my good luck through my blog, if that's possible. Here it comes, got it? Good Luck. Let me know if it works. Bye for now.

IL.'s Worst Front Pairs for the year

Like to go against the trend, here's some really bad Front Pair numbers for the year. My stats which include both Midday and Evening results put them at two or less for the year. Good Luck.
