Floaters in my right eye

Well, If it ain't one thing, it's another.

3 days ago I was bending over to pick something up. As i stood up, a very small black blob/jellybean shaped object appeared at the corner of my right eye. As the day progressed the blob broke into smaller piece and eventually has become into a cobweb strand that is close to the line of vision.

In the past 3 days I've done some research and the best cure is a laser treatment where the doctor zaps the clumps away into a gas thus dissolving the proteins.

The eye has a Vitreous gel that makes up the shape of the eyeball. As a person ages, the gel becomes less solid and liquifies. Some of the gel seeps through a membrane and becomes a floater.

I can't afford the expensive procedure, so hopefully the VA hospital might be able to help me.

The fun never ends.....lol

Below is a video of an actual laser treatment.

Boston resident Sal Esposito has been called to jury duty, but there's one thing standing in the way of his ability to serve: He's a cat.

Massachusetts couple Anna and Guy Esposito received a jury duty summons for their feline friend this month, who they had listed as a household resident on the 2010 Census.

"Sal is a member of the family so I listed him on the last Census form under pets but there has clearly been a mix-up," Anna told local TV station WHDH. "I read the whole thing and I said, 'Oh my God, how could he go, he's a cat?'"

"I was shocked," added Anna's husband Guy, though he said Sal - a fan of crime shows - "knows right and wrong."

Anna filed to have her pet disqualified from the service requirement on the grounds he is "unable to speak and understand English." She even included a letter from her vet explaining that Sal is not a human being but a "domestic short-haired neutered feline," WHDH reported.

The court rejected the request, and as things stand, Sal will have to report for duty to Suffolk Superior Crown Court in Boston on March 23.

And what if Sal the cat is asked to weigh in on a case?

"He'll probably do a meow for the answer," Anna said.

70 foot wide sinkhole behind house in China

hole

  • 17 January 2011, 11:03

A Chinese family had to leave their home after a giant sinkhole suddenly opened up in their backyard overnight.

The hole is nearly 70ft wide and nobody has so far even been able to measure how deep it is.

Zhang Fengrong, 58, of Leshan, Sichuan province, said he suddenly heard a roaring sound at 2am.

He stepped outside and was amazed to see the giant hole opening up, and getting closer and closer to his house.

At first, it was only 10ft wide, but witjhin 24 hours it had reached it's current size - and the family say they will lose their home if it gets any bigger.

Zhang said he had tried to measure the depth of the pit by letting down first a 130ft rope, then a 200ft rope, but they still hadn't reached the bottom.

"We can hear the sound of water when we stand on the edge of the hole, but when we throw down stones we don't hear them land or splash," he added.

The family are temporarily living in two rooms offered by the village office, and neighbours have helped them move most of their belongings from the house.

Didn't know Gerry Rafferty passesd away last Tuesday

Two hit wonder, "baker Street", and "Stuck in the middle with you", but "Baker Street"  never became played out for me, even to this day. Every song I've ever heard has a "Shelf Life" to me. Some get played out sooner than others, and some haven't yet become too tiresome to hear. This song in my opinion will never be worn out within my lifetime.

Gerry's 63 year old body gave in to liver failure after years of alchohol abuse.

R.I.P.
