There is a guy in Kentucky that is a frequent multiple pick-3 winner and he cashes his winning tickets at the lottery headquarters. I think he does it because he likes getting his picture taken holding a big check because it's not necessary. KY has cashing agents that will cash up to $5000 without filing out any forms one or more of the tickets is over $600. The pick-4 is different because a winning straight ticket is over the IRS $600 limit so there are two ways to cash multiple tickets. We

Oh yeah I assumed that...but someone has said they got a claim form at the place they bought the ticket....and I didnt know they could do that..anywheres other than the headquarters not at the retailer

It's $600 here in New Hampshire as well. Being a very small state geographically we have only one lottery headquarters in the state capital which is at max a 2 1/2 hour drive away even from the most remote northern locations.

I believe $600.00 is the limit in Oklahoma as well. Now Oklahoma has dozens of locations(Authorized Lottery Claim Centers) where you can go to claim a prize exceeding $600.00 to $5,000 but anything over $5,001 has to be claim at Lottery Headquarters.

When my mother won $5000 in march of this year we got ceremonial pictures from the lottery rep. I still have the picture in my drawer here at the apartment. She won the money on a video lottery terminal in a bar we use to go too. It was fun to spend the money with her. I am waiting to get my ceremonial check from powerball on monday morning at the lottery headquarters in salem, oregon. Good luck to me!-weshar75

They could, they would probably go to jail, but they could. OR they could hold a press conference AT the lottery headquarters and make a big to-do about turning it in, and ask the lottery officials - in front of the press - if, since a ticket is a bearer-instrument, if somehow they would qualify for some of it? and let the press deal with the mess.

You are definitely allowed to mail lottery tix through the mail. I believe if its the same state you ar eok. The back of the tickets here in FL clearly State you can cash in person or MAIL to lottery headquarters

When I ask for $5 in QPs, some clerks will give me five combos on one ticket and others will give me five separate tickets. If one of those tickets is a big winner, I won't take the losing tickets to lottery headquarters. It's possible the winner only bought 1 ticket but it's more likely it was one of many.
